‘Teen Mom’ Kailyn Lowry Pregnant And Alone? Chris Lopez And Javi Marroquin Reportedly Won’t Take Her Calls

Kailyn Lowry’s newest baby daddy Chris Lopez wants nothing to do with her or the baby. It’s bad enough that Lopez abandoned Lowry during her pregnancy, but he’s also refusing to take the Teen Mom 2 star’s calls.

An inside source told Radar Online that Lopez blocked his phone and will not talk to Lowry, who is currently pregnant with his kid. The only way Lowry communicates with Lopez is through his dad’s email.

“Kail doesn’t have his number,” a source revealed. “He disconnected his phone.”

Lowry announced her third pregnancy earlier this year but wouldn’t reveal the identity of the father until only recently. It isn’t clear why Lopez and Lowry are at odds with each other, but the insider claims that Lopez never thought it would last in the first place.

“Kail became a relationship of convenience for him,” the insider noted. “He never actually loved her. It was a relationship, but he just decided he wanted something different and things didn’t work out so they went their separate ways.”

Lowry has one son, Isaac, with ex-boyfriend Jo Rivera and another, Lincoln, with ex-husband Javi Marroquin. According to The Hollywood Gossip, Lowry wasn’t happy when she and Lopez parted ways but she hopes that he has a happy life moving forward. Marroquin, meanwhile, will not be around for the new baby, even though he is committed to raising Isaac and Lincoln.

With Lopez and Marroquin refusing to help, the Teen Mom star is all alone with baby number three. Although she’s given birth to two boys, Lowry admitted that she’s a little worried about having a kid without a significant other by her side.

“I think I’m most worried about the changes ahead, but also that I will have this baby 24/7 by myself with no help. I’m going to be a single parent from the beginning!”

Even more interesting, it sounds like Kailyn Lowry’s pregnancy wasn’t an accident. Sources claim that Lopez and Lowry were trying to have a baby, even though they knew their relationship wouldn’t last very long. In fact, the only thing that took Lopez by surprise was when Lowry tried to stay with him.

According to Cafe Mom, Lopez is the one who ended the relationship. Lowry apparently had zero plans to have a baby by herself and didn’t think Lopez would abandon her once she got pregnant. That obviously changed, and Lowry is now facing the reality of being a single mom for the first time.

To complicate things even further, Marroquin needs to file a denial of paternity in Delaware or else he will be legally considered the father of Lowry’s new baby. This could create complications down the road, especially if Lopez refused to offer financial support.

“Delaware law states that the ex-husband is presumed the father of a child if the child is born less than 300 days after the divorce,” Brooke A. Camhi, a New York lawyer, explained.

Marroquin needs to fill out paperwork with the Office of Vital Statistics to remove himself from being recognized as the dad. Lopez also needs to file an official acknowledgment of paternity, which means both men will likely be in contact with Lowry in the coming months.

David J. Bever, Lowry’s attorney, revealed that she is willing to go to court if the two men fail to file the proper paperwork. Lowry is expected to give birth later this year.

MTV has not announced its plans for an eighth season of Teen Mom 2, making it unclear whether Lowry’s pregnancy storyline will be featured on the new season.
