Kim Kardashian And Kanye West Are Reportedly On A ‘Break,’ He Has Dinner Alone In L.A.
Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s wedding anniversary is less than one week away, and sadly, they may be spending their milestone apart.
According to a new report, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are on a break after three years of marriage. Earlier this week, seemingly adding to the rumors, the rapper stepped out for dinner alone at Los Angeles’ Giorgio Baldi restaurant.
In photos of West on Thursday night, the father of Kim Kardashian’s two children, 3-year-old daughter North West and 1-year-old son Saint West, looked solemn in an all black outfit and white shoes.
“Right now, things are very tough for their marriage,” a source told Heat magazine, according to a report by the Sun on May 19.
Earlier this month, West was said to be working on his new album in a remote location in Wyoming after suspiciously deleting all of his social media accounts. Meanwhile, his wife, Kim Kardashian, stayed in Los Angeles with her family and continued to share updates with her fans on Twitter and Instagram.
“We’re all concerned that this could be a sign their marriage is on the rocks and that they want time apart,” the source continued. “Kanye is in a very odd place in his life right now, so he’s happy to take a break.”
As for Kim Kardashian, the insider said the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star had convinced her rapper husband that this was the best solution for him and encouraged him to take time away from the spotlight. At the same time, Kardashian has continued to bask in the limelight, and earlier this month, she attended the annual Met Gala alone. In previous years, Kardashian and West attended the event together, but this year, she walked the red carpet solo as her sisters, Kylie and Kendall Jenner, also attended the bash.
As Kanye West enjoyed his solo dinner on Thursday night, Kim Kardashian was busy on Instagram proclaiming to fans that she had reached a major milestone: 100 million followers. First, the reality star posted a photo of her daughter, North, posing near a fountain at Universal Studios and explaining that she had no idea what 100 million followers meant. She then posted a photo of herself sitting on a staircase in a low-cut white top and white pants.
Although Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have faced plenty of divorce rumors in recent weeks, they celebrated Easter as a family last month.
Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s marriage was said to be on the rocks at the end of last year after she was robbed in Paris and he suffered a meltdown in Los Angeles. Months later, a source assured People Magazine that the high-profile couple kept their two kids away from their alleged marital troubles.
“The kids are so young that they didn’t really feel like anything was too different,” a source close to West told the magazine. “Both Kanye and Kim have done all they can to shield the kids from this all. There was no fighting in front of the kids.”
According to the report, the couple was said to be doing much better earlier this month. Meanwhile, a second source claimed Kardashian and West have “been able to process things and move past them, and are very ready for what’s next and not be so focused on the mess that was last year.”
