Ruby Rose Playing With Fire: Says Katy Perry Is A ‘Sloppy Mess’

Katy Perry has dropped her newest single, “Swish Swish,” and reignited a massive fire that is her long-lasting feud with Taylor Swift. The feud may spiral out of control, as Ruby Rose has added more fuel to the raging fire.

Katy Perry got her fans “Chained to the Rhythm” on Friday midnight when she dropped her newest single “Swish Swish.” But Swift’s pals were “Wide Awake” to react to the Swift diss track, and start a new firework out of the Perry vs Swift feud.

Taylor Swift’s pals are “Wide Awake” and “Roar”ing over the new single to defend Swift. Ruby Rose, Swift’s long-time pal, took to Twitter just an hour after Katy Perry released “Swish Swish” on Friday midnight, to slam Perry’s writing skills.

“Swish Swish,” which was interpreted by many as Katy Perry’s Swift diss song and a solid response to Swift’s “Bad Blood,” caused quite a stir among Swift’s pals, with Ruby Rose calling it a “sloppy mess,” and rolling out a bunch of other harsh words against Perry.

In the tweet, Ruby Rose – who is best known for her roles in Resident Evil and Orange is the New Black – makes several references to Katy Perry’s music to know that she’s talking about the “Chained to the Rhythm” singer.

Ruby Rose mentions “purposeful poop,” which is a reference to Katy Perry’s term “purposeful pop” she flaunted when releasing her hit single “Chained to the Rhythm” earlier this year. Perry declared that the single would start a new era of socially conscious “purposeful pop.”

By writing “Bomb a Petit,” Ruby Rose is referencing Katy Perry’s recent single “Bon Appetit” featuring Migos. The track received weak reviews from critics though the music video won praise from fans.

Ruby Rose then went on to call “Swish Swish” a “sloppy mess of writing,” hinting that Katy Perry’s newest single samples a track by dance act Funkagenda. But the former Orange is the New Black actress was far from over.

Ruby Rose also referred to Katy Perry’s upcoming album called Witness by telling the “Chained to the Rhythm” singer that it’s never going to happen. By saying, “Fetch happen,” Rose cited the classic quote from 2004 film Mean Girls.

Ruby Rose then followed up with another tweet, in which she took a swipe at Katy Perry for giving up her political activism efforts only to “go low.” Calling it “a bummer,” Rose ridiculed the “Roar” singer for ditching her political activism efforts, which stopped abruptly after her favorite 2016 presidential election candidate Hillary Clinton lost to Donald Trump.

Katy Perry got Swift’s pals so angry after calling her nemesis “a joke” in the “Swish Swish” featuring Nicki Minaj lyrics, while calling herself “a courtside killer queen,” according to People magazine.

Katy Perry also sang in her newest single that Swift’s game is “tired,” telling the “Bad Blood” hitmaker to “retire” and comparing her to “an old coupon expired.”

“And karma’s not a liar, she keeps receipts.”

In her anti-Katy Perry tweets, Ruby Rose stopped short of starting a feud with Minaj. The Resident Evil actress was quick to note that she liked Minaj’s verse in “Swish Swish,” calling it “basically the only part that doesn’t sound a mess.”

Ruby Rose has been a long time pro-Swift soldier in the long-lasting feud between the “Shake It Off” singer and Katy Perry. Last year, the actress took Swift’s side when Kanye West slammed the “Bad Blood” singer in his hit song “Famous.”

Katy Perry will release her new album Witness on June 9, 2017.
