‘My 600-LB Life’ Milla Update: Grateful Mom Of 5 Is Looking For Work As She Continues To Grieve Over Husband

Milla Shawn Clark’s story in My 600-lb Life has always been one of the most heartwarming tales ever featured on the hit reality TV show. While the 47-year-old mother of five struggled with her morbid obesity, the support that her children and her husband gave her was a joy to watch. In this week’s Where Are They Now episode, however, it was revealed that Milla’s long journey to recovery encountered a huge roadblock in the form of her husband Elroy’s death. While still grieving the loss of Elroy, Milla has shared an intimate moment with her supporters through her Facebook page, showing a sweet little memorial that she and her children did for her late husband.

Viewers and avid fans of the hit reality TV show have regarded Milla and Elroy as one of the most interesting couples ever featured in My 600-lb Life. During Milla’s initial episode, it was revealed that Elroy completely doted on her. He was sweet, caring, and fully devoted to her desire to lose weight. Milla even shared that when she and Elroy got together, she “forgot that (she) was fat for a minute.” While her husband has been completely behind her journey so far, however, tragedy struck when Elroy passed away on December 2016, according to a 2Paragraphs report. Since then, Milla and her children have been dealing with grief.

The recently aired My 600-lb Life: Where Are They Now episode featured what appears to be Milla’s issues as she struggled to continue her weight loss despite the death of the person she deeply loved. Overall, the update episode on the mother of five was just as heartwarming as Milla’s first feature, especially since it was revealed that she was still supported by her five children, who are all extremely dedicated to her. Needless to say, her struggles and her drive to continue her weight loss despite her grief over her husband’s death has earned the admiration of viewers and avid fans of the hit reality TV show.

If Milla’s personal Facebook page is any indication, however, it appears that the mother of five is steadily taking her life back despite her grief. In a series of updates on her profile page, Milla shared a number of intimate details about her current life. Needless to say, it is tough not to admire the mother of five for her determination and optimistic outlook for her family’s future.

One thing that definitely struck many viewers and avid fans of My 600-lb Life was the fact that instead of wallowing in self-pity and grief, Milla has started looking for a home-based job. As revealed in a number of status updates, Milla is currently taking online classes so that she could start working while recovering at home. For a mother of five who just lost her beloved husband, her desire to provide for her children and take back her life from the overwhelming grief is extremely admirable.

Apart from this, Milla has also shared an intimate memorial that she and her children have done for her late husband. Featuring photos of the family and several memorabilia from the past years, Milla and her children’s memorial has received nothing but messages of admiration and respect from her supporters in the social media platform. Some even stated that the Where Are They Now episode, as well as the small, intimate memorial to the late Elroy, has managed to reduce them to tears.

Milla’s story is far from complete. After all, she still needs to lose more weight in order to be fully recovered, and the grief over Elroy’s passing away is still there. If there is anything that could be determined from Milla’s actions in her My 600-lb Life: Where Are They Now episode, however, it is that her children and her heart as a mother would enable her to overcome whatever obstacle life might throw at her in the future.
