Leah Messer Shares Makeup-Free Selfie On Instagram, Ignores Boyfriend Rumors
Leah Messer is ignoring rumors of a potential secret boyfriend and focusing on herself.
After a man named Scotty Ayre claimed to have engaged in a secret romance with the Teen Mom 2 star months ago, Leah Messer returned to Instagram where she chose to ignore Ayre’s claims and instead shared a makeup-free selfie.
“One of those days! Figured this tank was perfect for today!” Leah Messer wrote in the caption of her photo, adding the hash tags, “Tired As A Mother” and “No Makeup.”
Leah Messer is highly active on Instagram and contagiously shares selfies, photos of her kids, and advice-related memes on her page. In fact, just one day ago, Leah Messer shared a post with her fans and followers about self love.
“Once you grasp the power that you bestow you will never chase anyone or anything again. Work on you. Fall in love with yourself and know your worth,” her message read.
Leah Messer was once known for being twice divorced by her early 20s, but for the past several months, she has appeared to be enjoying the single life. While Messer was linked to personal trainer T.R. Dues after her divorce from Jeremy Calvert in 2015, the relationship ended months later, and these days, Messer is all about herself and her kids.

Leah Messer has been focused on self love since attending a rehab program in Arizona in spring, 2015. As fans may recall, the reality star and mother-of-three checked into the facility just one month before her divorce from Calvert was finalized and cited struggles with anxiety and depression. Since then, she claims to be doing much better and continued to encourage her social media followers to love themselves and surround themselves with positive people.
“When you know your worth and own who you are with confidence, no one can take advantage of you,” she said in a post last week. “Honor your heart by investing in growing your self love. Once your soul is rooted in acceptance and trust, you not only become unstoppable but capable of removing anything toxic from your life. Surround yourself with those who appreciate your presence not those who disrespect you in your absence. When you own your greatness, it doesn’t matter what anyone else thinks of you!”

Earlier this week, Leah Messer was faced with a new rumor, claiming she secretly dated a man last August. In an interview with Radar Online, Scotty Ayre said he and Messer were a “thing” but because the reality star couldn’t decide what she wanted, they called it quits just a short time into their alleged relationship. He also compared their rumored romance to a “train wreck.”
Days prior, Leah Messer confirmed to fans that she was single by sharing a photo of herself and her children on Instagram.
In the caption, Leah Messer asked fans, “Who needs a soul mate?”
“[Not me],” she continued. [Love like this] is immeasurable! My heart is always so complete! [True] happiness is finally here and well deserved!”
Leah Messer was recently linked to Jeremy Calvert after spending time with her ex-huband at a bar, but according to her Instagram feed, there is no need for a man in her life.
Leah Messer and her family are currently in production on the eighth season of Teen Mom 2. No word yet on when the series will return to MTV.
