Pixsy signs deals with Gotuit and Findology

Media search platform provider Pixsy has signed new distribution partnerships with Findology and Gotuit.

The Findology deal will see Pixsy’s advanced Video Search Playback (VSP) platform offer video capabilities to Findology’s network of owned and operated properties and affiliates. Using VSP, Findology will build, manage, and monetize a customized video search and playback experience for users interested in online videos.

Gotuit customers using the Gotuit Video Metadata Management System (VMMS), including Lifetime, Fox, Sports Illustrated and Major League Soccer will have mRSS feeds of their Gotuit-powered video library published to Pixsy’s Media Search Platform to drive greater traffic and monetization.

The mRSS feeds include scene-level metadata; each scene has a thumbnail, title,
description, direct URL link, embedded player code, and other structured attributes defined by the
publisher. In effect, it makes existing video content more searchable, and with Pixsy adding Gotuit providers to its white label search product, more people will be offered this content, delivering increased view rates.

It’s another two good deals for west coast based Pixsy, following recent deals with Ditto, National Lampoon, Infospace and others.
