Teresa Giudice Celebrates 45th Birthday With Kids As Husband Joe Remains In Prison [Photo]
Teresa Giudice is in the midst of a cheating scandal, but online, she’s focused on her family and friends.
After requesting fans say a prayer for her former Real Housewives of New Jersey co-star Dina Manzo, who was robbed and attacked with her boyfriend last weekend, the longtime reality star and mother of four took to Instagram to share a sweet photo with her many fans and followers.
“Celebrating my Birthday with my girls,” Teresa Giudice wrote in the caption of a photo of herself and her daughters, including Gia, Gabriella, Milania, and Audriana.
In the photo, which was shared on May 18, 45-year-old Teresa Giudice was seen posing in a black and white striped shirt with her birthday cake in front of her. On the cake, a message read, “Happy Birthday, Teresa.”
Teresa Giudice’s husband, Joe, who will celebrate his own 45th birthday on Monday, is currently incarcerated at the Federal Correctional Institution in Fort Dix, New Jersey. As fans of the Real Housewives of New Jersey couple will recall, both Teresa and Joe were sentenced to time behind bars in late 2014 after pleading guilty to conspiracy and bankruptcy fraud charges.
Teresa Giudice was incarcerated from January of 2015 to December of 2015, while her husband has been serving a 41-month prison term since March 2016.
Throughout the day on Thursday, Teresa Giudice received tons of birthday wishes from her fans and also her Real Housewives of New Jersey co-stars, including Melissa Gorga, Siggy Flicker, and Dolores Catania.
“Happy Birthday to my beautiful [sister] in law [Teresa Giudice],” Gorga wrote with a photo of herself and Teresa Giudice, according to a report by People Magazine on May 18. “Have the greatest day! See you later ? love [you].”
“Happy Birthday my gorgeous friend. I truly admire your strength & perseverance thru all your trials and tribulations in the past few years. So proud of you. I know that you are going to have the most beautiful day filled with love & laughter. You truly deserve it,” Flicker said.
“Happy Birthday to one of my oldest and dearest friends!” Catania added. “[Teresa Giudice] you are one of the strongest women I know and I am blessed to have you in my life. Cheers to you love. I hope this year is the best yet for you!”
Teresa Giudice and her husband, Joe, have been apart for over a year, and recently, the reality star was accused of spending time with another man. As Life & Style magazine revealed to readers on May 17, Giudice’s co-star, Kim DePaola, accused her of acting inappropriately during a charity event.
Although there doesn’t appear to be any sort of evidence proving DePaola’s alleged claims, the two women were believed to have gotten into a heated argument with one another at the gala.
As fans may recall, Joe Giudice was tied to a number of cheating scandals during the 11 months Teresa Giudice was incarcerated at the Danbury Correctional Facility in Connecticut, but nothing ever came of the infidelity rumors.
In December, Teresa Giudice spoke to People Magazine about how her daughters coped with the start of their father’s prison sentence months prior.
“They’re doing good,” she said of her daughters. “I’m sure it wasn’t easy, but a little easier because they went through it with me so they know what to expect. But they miss him tremendously, they always say we miss dad. They miss him. You can feel his absence, our family’s definitely incomplete without him.”
