‘The Bachelorette’ 2017 Cast: Here Are Some Colorful Contestants To Charm Viewers From Start Date [Spoilers]

The Bachelorette 2017 is different not only for Rachel Lindsay but also for various other reasons. This is the first time the complete cast of the show was revealed on social media. This is also the first time an African-American woman will be wooed by 31 suitors. Host Chris Harrison has revealed that there are several colorful contestants who are going to charm the viewers this year. According to him, Season 13 will feel fresh for these interesting characters.

According to Harrison, The Bachelorette 2017 has the most dramatic cast ever, and they come from the most diverse and successful fields. Additionally, there are 11 African-American men who are going to woo Lindsay. This is the first time so many African-American men are going to take part in the show. However, that is not the only sign of diversity that The Bachelorette Season 13 brings this time.

The average age of the suitors in the show is quite higher than usual. However, there is a reason for it. Lindsay is older than other ladies on the show in the past; she is 31. That is the reason why the average age of the contestants is also higher. For example, there is Bryan, who is a 37-year-old chiropractor from Miami, Florida. From the show’s standard, he is quite old. However, that’s what makes the show.

There are people from various fields, from sales to medicine and law. There is one football player, a former pro basketball player, and a pro wrestler who has previously appeared on the WWE. However, the makers of the show have decided to make it even more interesting. That is why they have used interesting bios for the Bachelorette 2017 cast members. Instead of writing doctor or wrestler, they have been called as “whiskey enthusiast,” “chicken enthusiast,” “Whaboom,” and “Tickle Monster.”

Harrison said that Bachelorette producers were not very creative about the contestants’ bios. They just listed them as manager or doctor. However, that is not the way these people are known in the show; they are not known for their profession. They would rather be known for what they do in the show.

For example, there is Jonathan, who is a successful doctor by profession. However, that is not how he is going to be known. People would rather remember him as the “Tickle Monster.”

“I think what we realized is, let’s have a little more fun with the labeling because that’s who you’re going to remember these guys as,” Harrison told E! News.

Harrison seems more fascinated about another contestant, called “Whaboom.” According to the host, he is somebody whom viewers would either love or hate. He explained the term “Whaboom.”

“It’s an essence, it’s a lifestyle, it’s an occupation but it’s also a verb. You can Whaboom and you can be Whaboom.”

According to Harrison, Lucan could be the “villain” of the season. He might be the one whom viewers would “love to hate.” However, there are other contestants who can give him a tough fight for the role.

“But Lee is also the guy who’s this very Southern gentleman, sweet as apple pie, you know, nice as can be,” Harrison said. “But the way he talks and the way he says things kind of rubs people the wrong way.”

The Bachelorette 2017 appears to have a lot of controversial contestants. According to Harrison, two cast members of the show hated each other so much that they kept interrupting each other during their exit interviews. Also, there are people who may look strong from their appearance, but they take seconds to shed tears. Seems like viewers are going to enjoy it.
