Johnny Depp Relationship News: Depp Reportedly Dating Again Despite Recent Dramatic Divorce

Johnny Depp had recently found his way through a very messy and very public divorce from his now ex-wife, actress Amber Heard. The two were constantly making headlines for allegations of abuse, restraining orders, and various low blows from both legal teams at their clients’ urging.

The divorce was finalized in January of this year after Depp had refused to pay the $7 million he had initially agreed to give to Heard. At the time, his team insisted that his hesitation to pay had to do with Heard speaking out about abuse in a PSA, which was reportedly against terms of the settlement. As time went by and Depp was finally ordered to fork over the remaining sum, the masses learned as to the real reason the Pirates of the Caribbean star was a bit hesitant to pay up was that he’s broke.

News quickly turned to Depp’s finances when he launched a lawsuit against TMG, his former management group, due to their alleged mismanagement of the star’s finances. TMG quickly fired back and laid Depp’s spending habits out on the table. The Business Insider shared the words in a document filed by TMG’s legal team.

“Depp listened to no one, including TMG and his other advisors, and he demanded they fund a lifestyle that was extravagant and extreme. Ultimately, Depp and/or his sister and personal manager, Elisa Christie Dembrowski, knowingly approved all of Depp’s expenditures.”

Although there has been endless negative press surrounding Depp, it seems that May has been the month of the comeback. The latest installment of Pirates of the Caribbean has hit theaters, and it has been reported that Johnny has begun dating again despite the drama that his last romance involved.

The Daily Mail reveals the words of a source close to the star, who insists that Depp is getting his life back on track and is even getting back out there in the dating world.

“Johnny Depp, 53, is ready to look to the future now, with sources close to the actor saying he’s getting his life back to normal and is even dating. ‘He is taking work seriously and seems healthy,’ a source close to the star revealed. ‘He spends time with his kids and is dating a bit.’ they added.”

The insider also added that Johnny is “more focused and happier” than he has been over recent months. The publication also notes that Johnny has been looking more content lately. He was pictured on Sunday at Disneyland alongside costars from Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales, Orlando Bloom and Javier Bardem.

Earlier this year, there was a report that Depp was fully involved with a costar from Murder on the Orient Express, which just wrapped filming. Such claims were stamped out as false by the co-star, Lucy Boynton, 23.

Although there is no word as to who it is that Depp is dating, his ex-wife Heard, has been tied to billionaire Elon Musk over many months. The two were first spotted together only a month after Amber filed for divorce from Depp. Initially, they were said to be friends, yet insiders insist that the actress is smitten with the Tesla Founder, business mogul, and inventor.

So, it seems that both Johnny and Amber are doing their best to move on in love and career, yet Depp seems to take one step forward to then be taken back two steps when his past behavior catches up to him in the press. In addition to Forbes naming Depp the most overpaid actor in Hollywood this year, TMG also unveiled a damning secret, claiming that Depp wears an earpiece on set and is fed his lines, meaning that he does not need to memorize the script.
