Teresa Giudice and the cast are currently in production on the upcoming eighth season of The Real Housewives of New Jersey, and when the show returns, fans may be shocked to learn of a cheating scandal.
According to a new report, Teresa Giudice was recently confronted by her longtime co-star, Kim DePaola, who accused the mother of four of spending time with a mystery man behind the back of her husband, Joe Giudice, who is currently serving time in prison.
“[Teresa Giudice] was talking about her wonderful children and everything she is doing with them, and Kim couldn’t take it,” a source revealed to Life & Style magazine on May 17. “She said, ‘Please! You are out every night with some guy!'”
At that point, Teresa Giudice, who has been known to be hot-headed in the past, lost it.
“[Teresa Giudice] started acting like a lunatic,” the insider said, adding that the longtime reality star swore at DePaola and threatened to throw a drink her way.
“Kim said, ‘You throw that glass at me, you’re going back to jail, b***h.’ Kim thinks Teresa is filthy,” the insider added.
Teresa Giudice and her husband, Joe Giudice, were both sentenced to term behind bars in October 2014 after being charged with bank and wire fraud, among other things. Months later, Giudice began a 15-month prison term at the Federal Correctional Institution in Danbury, Connecticut.
Teresa Giudice was ultimately released from prison in December 2015 but remained under house arrest for several weeks. Then, in March 2016, Joe Giudice began serving his 41-month prison term at FCI Fort Dix in New Jersey.
As fans may recall, Joe Giudice was accused of cheating on wife Teresa Giudice during her prison term. So, if the accusations against her are true, the tables have clearly turned.
Currently, Teresa Giudice is juggling her professional responsibilities, including her role on The Real Housewives of New Jersey, with being a single parent to her four daughters, Gia, Milania, Audriana, and Gabriella.
Over the weekend, with her longtime friend and former co-star, Dina Manzo, in tow, Teresa Giudice attended the first communion of her daughter, Audriana.
Although Teresa Giudice has been keeping a low profile in the year and a half since she returned home from prison, she did open up about the challenges of being a single parent to four girls during an interview last summer.
“You know, [they] miss their dad, of course, tremendously, just like I do. But you know they’re doing as well as could be expected,” she told ABC News. “They’re amazing. They’re really strong young girls.”
As for her relationship with husband Joe, Teresa Giudice assured the outlet that she was maintaining close contact with her longtime partner.
“We e-mail every day,” Teresa Giudice explained. “We talk every day and I see him every week… Our family’s gonna be reunited again, and that’s what I’m looking forward to.”
Earlier this month, prior to the cheating allegations against her, Teresa Giudice offered The Daily Dish an update on her incarcerated husband.
“He’s really toned, really fit. He looks amazing. He’s taken a lot of classes, doing a lot of studying, and he just got Student of the Month,” she revealed on May 4.
Teresa Giudice and the cast of The Real Housewives of New Jersey, including Melissa Gorga, Siggy Flicker, and Dolores Catania, are expected to return to Bravo TV for Season 8 later this year. A premiere date has not yet been set.
