Beyonce's Babies Will Get To Meet Blue Ivy Soon After They Are Born

Beyonce’s Babies: Blue Ivy To Wear Expensive Costume For Twins’ Arrival

Beyonce’s babies won’t have to wait long to meet their older sister, and Blue Ivy is going to make sure that she greets the twins in style by rocking a costly costume in the delivery room.

The twins could arrive at any time now, but Beyonce and Jay-Z have no reason to feel stressed out while they wait: They’ve done everything they can to make sure that the babies’ births go as smoothly as possible. According to OK! Magazine, the hip-hop power couple is currently living in a rental property near Los Angeles’ Cedars-Sinai hospital, which is where Beyonce plans on delivering the twins. By staying in these temporary quarters, they’re ensuring that Bey won’t have to make a long trip when she begins going into labor.

Jay and Bey’s delivery plan also includes a special setup at Cedars-Sinai: The print edition of Heat reports that the couple has requested the use of three of the hospital’s suites. They want to make sure that their family members will be comfortable while they wait on the twins’ arrival, and they also need the extra space for security. The couple doesn’t want anyone sneaking in and snapping valuable photos of the babies.

Blue Ivy Carter has been an only child for five years, so Beyonce and Jay-Z are reportedly concerned about how she’ll react to suddenly becoming an older sister to two very famous siblings. To make the transition easier for Blue, the parents are reportedly going out of their way to make her feel like she’s playing an important role in the babies’ arrival. She’ll be allowed to watch her mother give birth, and she’ll be one of the first people to meet the twins.

“Blue has her own birth plan written up, and will be staying in the room throughout. She’s set to be the first person to hold the babies after the doctor handing them to Jay-Z,” an insider dished.

To make the experience more fun for Blue Ivy, Beyonce, and Jay-Z have purchased a cute nurse’s costume for her to wear.

“Blue’s got $1,200 Givenchy nurse’s outfit, and a notepad to write down the twins’ weights. She will also help to tie the identification bracelets on their wrists.”

Spending over a grand on a costume that a kid will only wear once might seem a bit extravagant to some, but Beyonce’s daughter has expensive tastes. According to Teen Vogue, she attended the Hollywood premiere of the live-action Beauty and Beast movie wearing a $2,100 Gucci dress, and she owns a $2,500 cat purse by the same designer.

While Blue and her mother are both fans of dressing up in pricey gowns, Beyonce’s mom, Tina Knowles, insists that her daughter and granddaughter are not superficial. She recently told People that Bey is a “good mom” who is “patient and kind,” and she shared the most important lesson that the “Sandcastles” singer is teaching her kids.

“Teaching them that what is on the inside counts more than what’s on the outside,” Tina said. “I see her passing it on, and it makes me really proud because that was my biggest lesson.”

The excited grandmother didn’t drop a hint about when Beyonce’s due date is, but People speculates that it is sometime this month. As evidence, the outlet points to a new piece of jewelry that the singer was recently photographed sporting: A massive emerald ring. Bey was wearing the bling in place of her engagement ring, which may be a sign that it has a special significance for her. The emerald is the birthstone for May, so perhaps Jay-Z gave her the ring to commemorate the twins’ shared birthday.

Even though she might go into labor sometime soon, Bey isn’t letting the twins stop her from having a good time. According to Vanity Fair, she, Jay-Z, and Blue Ivy attended Apple Martin’s 13th birthday party over the weekend. Apple—the daughter of actress Gwyneth Paltrow and Coldplay frontman Chris Martin—held the event at the Museum of Ice Cream in Los Angeles, the perfect place to be if you’re a pregnant lady who constantly craves the sweet stuff.
