WWE News: Eva Marie’s Replacement For ‘Total Divas’ Revealed, Other New Cast Members Coming Soon

It’s being reported that Eva Marie is finished with Total Divas and has likely made her final appearance for WWE, but her replacement and other new cast members are expected to join the show next season. A week ago, the finale of Total Divas‘ sixth season aired on the E! Network. Filming for the seventh season is set to begin next month, but there are several questions about the cast that still need to be answered very quickly.

Eva Marie’s status is clear, but Paige’s involvement in the seventh season of the show is unconfirmed. Paige hasn’t appeared on WWE television for longer than Eva. Her status with WWE is still up in the air, which is an indication that she may be taking a hiatus from the show for the seventh season or her involvement with Total Divas may be over. As a result, the producers and WWE are interviewing to find their replacements.

There are many females under the WWE banner that could be featured on the show next season. It has been said that Brie and Nikki Bella, Natalya, and Naomi are confirmed for the seventh season. Lana, Maryse, and Renee Young have yet to be confirmed themselves. However, there is some new information regarding some of the new cast members WWE officials are hoping to bring to the show to replace Eva Marie and Paige.

It’s come to light that WWE officials are strongly considering Alexa Bliss, Charlotte Flair, and Becky Lynch to become the newest cast members of Total Divas for the seventh season. Nothing has been confirmed yet, and it’s unlikely that all three women will join the cast for main roles. But, these are the top three choices to fill the vacate roles left by Eva Marie and Paige. In particular, WWE is hoping for Charlotte to join the show.

Charlotte Flair is one of the top overall performers in the company, which means WWE officials would love to feature her in another role. She would be a huge addition to Total Divas, especially in the wake of losing two of the show’s main cast members. The belief is the WWE Universe would like to see more of Charlotte, especially if it were to show her personality outside of the ring and behind the scenes on WWE television.

Ultimately, Charlotte’s interest will be the deciding factor in her involvement with the show. She may not be interested in becoming a cast member of Total Divas. In the past, AJ Lee turned down the opportunity to be a part of the show. Charlotte may not be interested in being followed around by cameras away from the ring and be featured in highly personal storylines for the show. WWE officials do have other options on their list.

Alexa Bliss and Becky Lynch would also provide new and unique characters to the show. Maria Kanellis has also been rumored for a WWE return and could be in consideration for the show as well if she signs with the company. Other female stars like Alicia Fox, Summer Rae, and others could return for main roles on Total Divas to fill the vacancies if WWE and the show’s producers can’t find new cast members for next season.

Last week, it was also announced by WWE that the second season of Total Bellas will be airing this fall. The E! Network will have that show to promote while the powers that be figure out what the cast will look like in the seventh season of Total Divas. Production for the season is expected to begin next month, so new cast members will be revealed sooner rather than later.
