Dina Manzo’s Daughter Defends Mom After Violent Home Invasion, Slams Former ‘RHONJ’ Costars On Twitter
Dina Manzo’s daughter Lexi defended her reality star mom after a violent home invasion this past weekend. The 21-year-old lashed out at former Real Housewives of New Jersey costars on Twitter who criticized her mom.
A violent home invasion
Dina Manzo and her millionaire boyfriend, David Cantin, were brutally attacked after walking in on a home invasion this past weekend in Holmdel, New Jersey.
The Real Housewives of New Jersey star and her boyfriend are reportedly “shaken up from the traumatic and violent home invasion and robbery,” according to People.
The reality star’s lawyer, Andrew B. Brettler, told reporters that “No one should ever have to go through what they did.”
“They are grateful to law enforcement and the other emergency responders and appreciate everyone’s concern and well-wishes.”
David, 37, suffered a broken nose and other injuries to the face, while Dina, 46, was treated for several facial injuries.
Insensitive tweets from former costars
A former star of The Real Housewives of New Jersey, Jim Marchese tweeted at his wife, saying that “nothing good ever comes out of RHONJ” and that “in the end the devil comes for his dues.”
Lexi Ioannou, 21, slammed Marchese on Twitter, defending her mother Dina and calling him “a filthy human being” and telling him to “keep your arrogance to yourself,” Radar Online reported.

Jim’s wife Amber stepped in on social media to try and mediate the situation saying, “Lexi, Jim was referring to RHONJ being EVIL in [an] original tweet. A better approach [would] have been [to] ask meaning before viciously attacking him.”

Amber Marchese, another former star of The Real Housewives of New Jersey, continued to say that the robbers should have gone after a million dollar home, not Dina Manzo who has no money.

Amber directed a few more tweets at Lexi before giving up on the matter, but not before telling her to back down because her mother Dina has “caused a lot of hurt amongst our friends.”

A strong mother/daughter bond
Lexi and her mother Dina have an extremely close relationship. When Dina first appeared on The Real Housewives of New Jersey, Lexi was just a young teenager.
She recently celebrated her 21st birthday in New York City with her mother, who flew across the country from Los Angeles to be with her.
