Briana DeJesus’ Cosmetic Surgery Helped Her Land A Spot On The ‘Teen Mom 2’ Season 8 Cast?
Did Briana DeJesus’ cosmetic procedures help her land a spot on the upcoming season of Teen Mom 2?
According to Dr. Michael Salzhauer, aka Dr. Miami, he believes the former Teen Mom 3 star, who is currently expecting her second child, may have landed a new gig with MTV due to her recent procedures.
“The vast majority of work that I do is on regular moms,” Dr. Salzhauer explained to Radar Online on May 15. “Everyone wants to feel confident about their bodies and I believe that [Briana DeJesus] would have had the surgery even if she was not on TV, but I think that it helped her.”
Briana DeJesus starred in one season each of 16 & Pregnant and Teen Mom 3. As fans may recall, the spinoff series’ lackluster ratings ultimately forced fans to say goodbye to Briana DeJesus and her co-stars — Mackenzie McKee, Katie Yeager, and Alexandria Sekella — after just one installment.
Although Briana DeJesus has not yet confirmed her role on the upcoming eighth season of Teen Mom 2, nor has MTV discussed the potential cast addition, Radar Online suggested the reality star has signed on to appear on the show alongside Kailyn Lowry, Jenelle Evans, Leah Messer, and Chelsea Houska.
As Radar Online also revealed, Briana DeJesus chronicled her cosmetic surgery makeover, which included a butt lift, boob job, and labiaplasty, on social media. The procedures were all performed by Dr. Salzhauer and reportedly offered DeJesus a “new outlook on life.”

“When you are in the public eye, you want to look your best,” Dr. Salzhauer told Radar Online of Briana DeJesus’ decision to go under the knife.
Dr. Salzhauer went on to reveal that despite rumors of Briana DeJesus’ diva behavior, he didn’t notice anything out of the ordinary while working with the reality star.
“Was she a diva? Not to me. She was really nice to me. But they want to be nice to me so that I do a good job!”

After reports suggested Briana DeJesus had nabbed the role of the fifth Teen Mom 2 cast member, a couple of her fellow Teen Mom stars spoke out against her.
First, Mackenzie McKee spoke to Radar Online about her addition to the show, revealing that she was likely much better suited for the series due to her impressive following on social media. As fans may have noticed, McKee boasts a whopping 626,000 followers on Instagram, while Briana DeJesus has less than 100,000 followers.
A short time later, Jenelle Evans quoted an article about Briana DeJesus’ reported addition to the show and told fans, “How you’re quoting something and saying it’s me when I never commented about this issue to begin with?! How do I really feel?! #FakeNews.”
She later refused to comment on Briana DeJesus’ potential role.
“I’m not commenting on it at all,” she told the Dirty in March.
“MTV wanted me to film about it and I even told them no,” she continued, claiming that they wanted the “same with the rest of the girls.”
Weeks later, Evans spoke out about the issue again, telling E! News that she simply doesn’t care about Briana DeJesus joining Teen Mom 2.
“I don’t understand why MTV wants to add a girl to the mix that was never part of our 16 & Pregnant season,” she said. “None of this makes sense, but it’s whatever. She has not reached out to me and I dislike her for comments she has made about me in the past.”
