Fake Report Claims Zack Braff is Dead
A report doing the rounds is claiming that actor Zach Braff of Scrubs fame was found dead in his California home this afternoon.
It’s Columbus Day in the United States, so that means it’s a slow news day. Slow news days as we know are always fodder for fake celebrity deaths, and the Zach Braff is dead story is 100% fake.
The report of Zach Braff’s death comes complete with a fake CNN page (shot above) that claims among other things that “Comedian Zach Braff was found dead inside his 32,000 square foot estate in Beverly Hills, California this afternoon, as an alleged suicide. Beverly Hills police were called to the scene at about 2:00pm EST. today to find the actor with an empty pill bottle at his side.”
An ABC spokesperson has confirmed that the story is a hoax, and that Braff is alive and well.
