X Factor co-host Mario Lopez has married girlfriend Courtney Mazza. Lopez and Mazza tied the knot in a private ceremony in Punta Mita, Mexico.
Lopez met Matta in 2008 when he was starring in a Broadway rendition of A Chorus Line.
According to PEOPLE, the couple wed at the seaside estate of Girls Gone Wild creator Joe Francis.
Extra reports that the couple’s two-year-old daughter Gia was the flower girl at the couple’s wedding.
To celebrate the wedding, the couple hired a mariachi band and brought in a wedding cake by Cake Boss star Buddy Valastro. The cake was design as a winter-wonderland-meets-beach theme.
Now that they have officially tied the knot, the next step might be a bigger family. Lopez recently told PEOPLE:
“We’re working on that. Right after the wedding. We’ll wait for the guests to leave and then we’re getting right on that!”
While the Mario Lopez and Courtney Mazza wedding ceremony may have been private, it will air on TLC this December 8. The two-hour TLC special will be titled Mario & Courtney’s Wedding Fiesta.
Mario Lopez was married for a short time in 2004 to Ali Landry, a marriage that was eventually annulled. This is the first marriage for Mazza.
It will be interesting to see how the Lopez wedding turned out; after all, Khloe Kardashian gave Mario a bit of advice before his big day, and the Kardashians have never batted a thousand when it comes to marriage.
