Jon Gosselin Files Suit Against Kate Over Hidden Money
After Kate accuses him of taking money from their bank account, Jon Gosselin files court papers of his own, accusing his estranged wife of also taking an exorbitant amount from their accounts.
RadarOnline.com reports that the reality TV series dad and his lawyer filed papers last week, demanding a written explanation of the $1 million Kate removed from their savings.
Jon admits he has taken funds from their joint bank account, but also alleges Kate removed funds from their savings as well. The mother-of-eight apparently took more than $60,000 from the same fund between July 17 and September 29.
And while Kate was whining about being left with only $1,000 to pay the family bills after he took $230,000, she had access to more than $1 million of their money.
Jon wants Kate held in contempt of court for not providing an accounting of all the money she spent from June 22 through July 6 and for not giving him written permission required for him to access four of their bank accounts online. He also wants Kate to reveal how much she’s paying her lawyers, just like what she demands of him.
