You could argue that Miley Cyrus stole the show when she guest starred on Two and a Half Men earlier this season. According to a new report, the producers have taken note of this and are thinking of asking her to replace the show’s conscience-ridden star Angus T. Jones in upcoming seasons.
Angus T. Jones non-apology apology may have come too late, as insiders are already buzzing about his replacement for Two and a Half Men‘s eleventh season. Here’s what they had to say, via Celebuzz:
“There are talks to replace Angus and the perfect person would be Miley Cyrus. The episodes that she appeared on brought in the highest ratings of the season. One possibility is that she could easily be written into the show to go to college.
“When she was on set, she was pleasant and very enjoyable to work with. She won everyone over. Now the whispers are growing louder. People involved in the show want Miley to replace Angus.”
Cyrus appeared in two episodes of Two and a Half Men playing an air-headed love interest for Jones and Kutcher’s characters.
There’s no official word yet, so take the rumor with a grain of salt. Still, ScreenRant notes that Jones exiting before season 11 wouldn’t be terribly unexpected, as he had to be talked into doing season 10 anyway.
The only problem we see is that they pretty much have to rename the show if Cyrus signs on in place of Jones, since they’re be one-and-a-half men down, with Jon Cryer remaining as the only original cast member. And, you know, Miley Cyrus is a girl.
Just cancel Two and a Half Men already! This is too confusing!
What do you think? Would Miley Cyrus be a good replacement for Angus T. Jones on Two and a Half Men?
