Jessica Biel Had a ‘Disturbing’ Way Of Playing With Her Barbie Dolls

Jessica Biel never was much of a girly girl, in fact she has always been a sort of a tomboy.

According to TODAY, during an appearance on TBS’ Conan on November 28, the newlywed Biel opened up about growing up as a tomboy. She said:

“(I played) any kind of sport — soccer, football. Whatever it was, I was playing with boys, hanging out.”

Like most normal little girls, Biel did have Barbie Dolls. However, Biel played with her dolls a little differently than most girls. She told Conan:

“They didn’t really stick around very long. I ended up mutilating them by pulling their heads off, cutting off all their hair, dyeing them with markers and sticking them on the Christmas tree lights. They’d light up like these demonic heads. My parents were very open!”

When host Conan O’Brien called her playtime with her dolls “disturbing,” the Playing for Keeps actress laughed loudly as she said:

“Back then I don’t think people reported that kind of stuff. Now I would definitely be in trouble. I still have the heads. They still go on (my Christmas tree) every year at home.”

Growing up as a young child in Colorado, Biel was obsessed with The Goonies, Stand By Me and E.T.

She liked, according to Biel, “basically just all the cool boy adventure movies.” She continued on to say, ” Indiana Jones was my idol. I wanted to be him. I wanted to be an archaeologist because of him.”

Biel eventually lost the interest to be an archaeologist. She said that her dad “had to explain to me that being an archaeologist means you’re sitting in a pile of dirt digging. It’s not swinging on ropes with a cool whip and a sidekick!”
