Jessica Simpson is reportedly pregnant and planning to get married before baby number two arrives. The rumored pregnancy comes just seven months after the star gave birth to her first child, a girl named Maxwell Drew.

Simpson is engaged to former NFL player Eric Johnson, but the star, who was reportedly planning to get married in December, has put off those plans again in light of her parents divorce and her best friend’s wedding next month, reports The Herald Sun.

Despite the setback, Jessica still allegedly wants to get married before her rumored second child is born. Radar Online notes that a source close to Simpson’s family told them:

“Jessica wanted to get married before Christmas and was thinking of a date in December. But then Cacee set a date with Donald [Falcon] for December, her father was caught up in the gay scandal and then she found out she was pregnant.”

The source went on to claim of Jessica Simpson:

“Her plans were derailed and the wedding became a secondary detail with everything that was going on in her life. However, she still wants to get married soon and is seriously considering marrying Eric before her baby is due.”

The news of Jessica Simpson being pregnant, if true, would likely be a surprise to the actress, who just showed off a 70-pound weight loss she achieved with the help of Weight Watchers and a personal trainer.
