Clean ‘Air’: Jordan’s Cigar Plans Go Up In Smoke For Presidents Cup

San Francisco, CA (AHN) – NBA legend Michael Jordan will have to taper off on his cigar smoking while doing his role as U.S. co-team captain to Fred Couples in the upcoming Presidents Cup golf tournament.
A published photo of the former Chicago Bulls superstar smoking a cigar reportedly caught the attention of city officials.
According to reports, a notice was sent to PGA Tour officials and reminded them that smoking is banned at Harding Park, a public facility.
All San Francisco Parks, including the city’s four golf courses, are covered by the city’s smoking ban.
His Airness reportedly lit up stogies during Tuesday’s practice rounds.
Jordan, for his part, reportedly indicated that he will try to abide by the restriction while on the course.
A recent inductee to the Basketball Hall of Fame, Jordan was invited as guest to the event because of his affinity for golf.
His presence could also provide boost to the world’s best golfers.
