Brad Pitt Defends Chanel Ad
Remember that awful Chanel No. 5 ad that Brad Pitt did? The one where he said non-nonsensical things in a deep sexy voice? Well, the actor doesn’t think that the ads were that bad.
Pitt defended his Chanel No. 5 ad today saying that he liked the way that they turned out.
Pitt told Access Hollywood:
“I kind of liked it… I respect what they do. They do some really quality things.”
Pitt’s Chanel No. 5 ad has been subject to several parodies. Unfortunately, Pitt hasn’t been in the country lately and hasn’t seen any of the videos yet.
Pitt said:
“I’ve been overseas, so I’ve been blissfully protected. I haven’t [seen the parodies], but I say absolutely fair play, fair play.”
Pitt’s Chanel No. 5 ad may have been ridiculed but he is starting to get some good reviews for his upcoming movie Killing Them Softly. The movie, which officially opens this weekend, currently has a 93% rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
Entertainment Weekly writes: “Pitt once again plays a quietly powerful sociopath, and once again the screen vibrates.”
