Lindsay Lohan Allegedly Wants Her Own Television Show

Lindsay Lohan appears so undeterred by the negative Liz & Dick reviews that she is allegedly shopping around for television sitcom in need of some star power.

LiLo allegedly instructed her agent and her manager to find her a spot on a television show, according to a Radar Online source. The source had this to say about Lohan’s supposed new career direction:

“Lindsay feels that the small screen would be a great way for her to revitalize her acting career and that a comedy would be the best bet. Lindsay feels most comfortable doing comedy and it was Charlie Sheen that told her she should do it. Charlie told Lindsay that it was an easy way to make very good money and help her to get her movie career back on track. Lindsay is loving the idea of having her own sitcom and would love to play someone in a story based on her crazy life.”

The alleged Lindsay Lohan insider also maintains that the Liz & Dick actress does not care about the criticism of performance and feels that everyone is merely “insanely jealous.” LiLo also supposedly admires the work Kirstie Alley did with the Fat Actress show, and wants to follow in the former Cheers star’s footsteps.

Michael Lohan, Lindsay’s father, defended her portrayal of Elizabeth Taylor via Twitter. He reportedly stated that all the critics should go “find new jobs.” When defending Lindsay on Twitter, Michael had this to say:

“They know nothing about @lindsaylohan talent! She has more talent in her pinky then all of them together. You proved the critics wrong @LindsayLohan you are one of the best, so gifted, so amazing! Now apply it ALL! God bless you! And our family!”
