‘Frozen 2’ Is A Go! Cast Warms Up For Rehearsals As Fans Tune In To ‘Frozen LEGO’

It’s quite hard to believe that it has already been four years since Frozen was introduced to the world. Now, the entire crew is prepping to get back on filming. After the long-awaited moment, fans can finally see what happened to Anna and Elsa.

Frozen is one of those Disney movies that you can call “innovative.” They were the ones who introduced a “love story” not between a man and a woman, but between siblings. Since the focus of the plot revolves around the sisters, this has encouraged Disney as well as the fans, to look at the meaning of love from an entirely new perspective.

Over the years, fans have been speculating about the sequel. There were also some theories that Anna and Elsa were the lost sisters of Rapunzel from Tangled since the character appeared in the movie.

According to Entertainment Weekly, Frozen 2 will introduce an entirely new narrative that will surprise the audiences altogether. Movie producer Peter Del Vecho said that they are already working hard on the storyline, where everything will begin.

“We’re in the development writing process and are very excited by it. Like all movies, it will evolve.”

He hinted that the sequel will provide a larger overview of Anna and Elsa’s story, why things have happened to the sisters, and more.

“Now that we’ve been involved in it for a while, what’s exciting is it feels like it builds on the first movie. You understand things better in the first movie after you’ve seen the sequel.”

There are no details on the release date yet, but Telegraph reported that it will not be before 2019. Disney has already laid out their projects for 2017 until 2018 and Frozen 2 is not one of them.

However, according to Disney CEO Robert Iger, they are not looking for a quick fix.

“We’re not demanding speed. We’re demanding excellence.”

Meanwhile, the stars of the film could not help but share their excitement to the fans as well. Bell took to Twitter to share her thoughts on the news. As Bell confirmed, Frozen 2 production is already on the way.

Still, Bell noted that Disney is taking their time when it comes to developing the sequel. In her interview with Collider, Bell said she has not recorded any line for the film yet. Just like what Iger said, Disney is taking their time for this masterpiece.

“What I know about that whole team is that they wouldn’t just put something out to put it out. That’s why it took them so long to even announce that we were doing a second one. Generally when you have a first successful movie you want to make a second one. It took them a while because they wanted to figure out what story they needed to tell and what would be important and engaging and I think they found it.”

As for the fans, they will have to do with a temporary fix, while waiting for a few more years before Frozen 2 finally arrives.

Disney, in collaboration with LEGO, has created a LEGO version of these beloved characters. LEGO Frozen Northern Lights is a mini-series that features Anna, Elsa, and their friends as they search for the Northern Lights.

According to Common Sense Media, the mini-series is just about 3 out of 5. However, this particular take on the story will entertain younger fans. Olaf has a larger contribution when it comes to adding humor to the story.

Lastly, the story has some good moral points that families and parents can talk about with their kids.
