Jennifer Lawrence: Dancing With Bradley Cooper Was Harder Than ‘Hunger Games’

Jennifer Lawrence explained that learning to dance with Bradley Cooper was harder than making The Hunger Games, according to E! Online.

The acclaimed actress had to learn how to dance for her role in writer-director David O. Russell’s Silver Lining Playbook. She admitted that picking up some moves on the dance floor proved harder than doing some of the action sequences for The Hunger Games.

“It’s a great way to get to know a person,” Lawrence explained. “You’re instantly sweating and learning something together.”

The Winter’s Bone actress stated that nailing the correct dance moves was a bit more difficult than learning how to shoot and bow and arrow.

“If you miss a target, you still look cool because you’re holding a bow and arrow,” she said. “But when you mess up dancing you just look like an idiot.”

Silver Linings Playbook co-star Bradley Cooper, on the other hand, seemed a bit more comfortable than his counterpart.

“I remember I thought, ‘OK, it’s going to be all right because we are holding each other and we were both very vulnerable to this choreographed dance that we were going to have to do in three weeks in front of Robert De Niro. We [were] treading water together, helplessly treading water together,’ ” Cooper said.

According to Yahoo! News, apparently Cooper couldn’t get enough of his sultry co-star. The actor was caught catching a peek at Lawrence’s cleavage at the screening of Silver Linings Playbook in Beverly Hills.

Of course, Lawrence may not have minded. The actress has stated that working with Cooper on the film was like finding her soulmate.

“We get on really well. Professionally it is like finding your co-star soulmate,” she explained.

Writer-director David O. Russell’s Silver Linings Playbook opens wide in North America today (November 21).
