‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Sam Left Out of Cassadine Island Adventure?

General Hospital spoilers predict Jake Webber’s (Hudson West) mysterious past on Cassadine Island will get the full treatment in coming weeks but one party to the plot could be left out this go round. Sam Morgan (Kelly Monaco) may be left behind in Port Charles because of new baby Scout on General Hospital.

Original Cassadine Island Plot Scrapped

If you were watching General Hospital last year, you’ll remember Sam and Jason Morgan (Billy Miller) went to Cassadine Island to chase down fugitive Nikolas Cassadine (Tyler Christopher) to prove he was alive so Jason wouldn’t be arrested for his murder. This is another General Hospital case Jason had to solve instead of the PCPD.

That was also the time where Liz Webber (Rebecca Herbst) had started examining the book left to her by Helena Cassadine (Constance Towers) which she kept in her locker at General Hospital. The plan then was for Liz and Franco (Roger Howarth) to travel to Cassadine Island where their General Hospital misadventures would overlap them with Sam and Jason.

Tyler Christopher Contract Blew Up Plot

General Hospital fans know Tyler Christopher wanted to renew his contract as Nikolas but TPTB at General Hospital made it impossible, according to the actor. That prompted the out of the blue shooting “death” of Nikolas and caused an abrupt and frustrating end to the Cassadine Island adventure. Instead of closure, General Hospital fans were frustrated.

The contract SNAFU forced General Hospital writers to scramble. Lots of information had been released including General Hospital spoilers from ABC Soaps in Depth related to the Hudson West recast as Jake that was all part of the planned Cassadine storyline. Franco and Liz never made it to the island and the General Hospital plot fizzled.

Sam Cut Out Of Cassadine Adventure?

There are conflicting General Hospital spoilers looming about the brand new Cassadine Island plot. Some say Sam, Jason, Franco, and Liz will all four venture to the Greek island to sort out Jake’s past while other General Hospital spoilers say Sam will be stuck back in Port Charles with baby Scout. Given that Sam just went through a trauma, missing the adventure makes sense.

No matter what happens, there will be enough angst to go around if it’s Jason, Liz, and Franco on the island, predict General Hospital spoilers, even without Sam along for the ride. This brand new adventure kicks off next week starting on Monday, March 27, according to the latest General Hospital spoilers. Jason has questions about the welfare of his child Jake.

Cassadine Chaos Coming Soon

General Hospital spoilers say that same week, Liz and Franco disagree over Jake’s behavior and what it could mean. Franco is very concerned about Jake and wants to share with Jason but Liz wants to hold back. General Hospital spoilers predict Liz is still hoping her sweet boy will revert to normal behavior and they can all put this behind them.

This week, Franco opens up to someone else about his concerns about Jake on General Hospital. This causes Liz to question her future with Franco on the Monday, March 27 episode of General Hospital. By the end of next week, General Hospital spoilers predict Franco goes to someone seeking advice. Will Franco go to his BFF Dr. Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) or someone far afield?

What’s Behind The Mystery Door?

Franco did some at-home art therapy with Jake and General Hospital spoilers say Jason won’t be happy when he discovers this uncomfortable truth but he will listen to Franco’s concerns when confronted with the truth in black and white – or in this case, in vivid crayon colors on paper. Last week, Jake drew the door and General Hospital spoilers predict it freaked out Franco.

General Hospital spoilers hint the door is all-important. You can see in the pic above it’s not just any old door. It looks like a door where someone was held prisoner. Notice the bars on the door. General Hospital spoilers tease someone was held captive behind that door, but who? There is one big issue General Hospital spoilers and episodes have yet to address Jake’s time on Cassadine Island…

Did Jake And Jason Interact While Helena’s Prisoners?

The period when Jake was kidnapped by Helena on General Hospital began in 2011 when he supposedly died after being run down by Luke Spencer (Anthony Geary) and donated his kidney to Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) in some of the saddest scenes in General Hospital history. Then a year later, Jason was supposedly killed by Cesar Faison (Anders Hove).

General Hospital history reveals that Helena had both Jason and Jake in her greedy clutches at the same time. We know Helena brainwashed Jason and used him as her personal assassin but we still don’t know what she was doing with Jake during his time on the island on General Hospital when we didn’t see him. Since both Jason and Jake were held at the same time, did they interact?

Was Jason The Man Behind The Door?

Given that Jason was under Helena’s control and even more dangerous than his Stone Cold time on General Hospital, was Jason what was kept behind that scary door on Cassadine Island? General Hospital spoilers reveal that no one else was kept on the island at the time – at least that we know of – so could it be that Jake knew a scary man was in that room but didn’t know it was his dad?

We’ll have to await more detailed General Hospital spoilers to find out if Sam will get to go along for the ride or if the new mom will be left behind in Port Chuck with little Scout. Look for the Jake mystery with a tie-in to Jason’s own mysterious past during his missing years kicks off soon and we’ll see how these General Hospital spoilers play out.
