FBI Investigating White Powder Sent To Khloe Kardashian


According to TMZ, a letter containing a suspicious white powder and addressed to X Factor co-host Khloe Kardashian Odom was sent to CBS on Tuesday, and now the FBI is investigating.

After the letter addressed to Kardashian and containing the white powder was discovered, the FBI, LAPD, and L.A. Fire Department showed up to take a look. The powder was determined to be harmless talcum powder, but that isn’t the end of the story. E! reports FBI Public Affairs Specialist Laura Eimiller confirmed that the bureau is still looking into the matter.

“The item was field tested with negative results,” Eimiller said. “We have a continuing investigation.”

The CBS studio where the Khloe Kardashian letter with white power is where X Factor is filmed. Interestingly, the studio has seen this sort of thing before. The same type of letters were sent to CBS addressed to Bristol Palin when she was participating on Dancing with the Stars. It was not clear if this letter was related to the previous two.

As a result of the letter, the CBS studio has increased safety measures.

“Khloe is fine,” a source told E!. “The studio has hired extra security. Khloe is heading to rehearsals right now. She is not worried.”

Khloe Kardashian Odom debuted as co-host of X Factor alongside Mario Lopez in late October, immediately drawing attention to her, endowments, after Simon Cowell commented on her state of dress.

“May I say Khloe, you’re looking very sexy tonight,” he said on the broadcast. “I think the air conditioning is on high.”
