Hathaway Wants To Have A Baby: Actress Feels The Call Of Motherhood


Hathaway wants to have a baby, according to US Weekly. Months after tying the knot with Adam Shulman, the actress is starting to feel motherhood’s call.

During a recent interview with a number of successful Hollywood actresses, The Hollywood Reporter asked how fame had changes their lives. After Amy Adams revealed her inability to control her temper around paparazzi, Anne Hathaway revealed her baby-oriented aspirations.

“I’m thinking about that because I really want to have a baby, and my husband and I are like, ‘Where are we gonna live?’ ” the actress aid.

In short, the Dark Knight Rises co-star seems to have motherhood on her mind.

Anne Hathaway wants to have a baby, and several anonymous sources seem to think she’s almost ready to take the plunge.

“Annie wants to get everything done so they can get married and have babies,” one source explained.

The interview with The Hollywood Reporter included discussions with such acclaimed actresses as Naomi Watts, Helen Hunt, Amy Adams, Sally Field, and Marion Cotillard. During their chat, Hathaway revealed that she is playing the same role her mother tackled in the stage production of Les Miserables.

“My mom was in the first national tour, and she understudied the character [Fantine] whom I wound up playing,” Hathaway explained. “It made me nervous to tell her that I was auditioning for it, just because I knew how much it would mean to her, and I was worried that if I didn’t get it, she would be disappointed, and if I did get it, it would be weird. And she was so cool about it. We talked about the character. And when I got the part, no one was happier for me.”

Director Tom Hooper’s Les Miserables, which also stars Hugh Jackman and Russell Crowe, opens in North American theaters on December 25.
