Nicki Minaj Scared Fans Won’t Like Her On ‘American Idol’

Nicki Minaj is scared that she isn’t going win any new fans on American Idol. 

The singer has already caused some controversy on the show and she’s worried that she might come off as a mean person on the reality singing show.

Minaj said:

“I’m scared. Maybe I shouldn’t have been so like… It’s hard for me to not say how I really feel.Everyone else is so nice. I was just thinking back about some things and I was like, ‘I wonder if that was not so nice.’ I don’t think I’m going to be able to watch it. I’m going to be so nervous. But I know people are going to love it. I think it’s a great dynamic.’ “

Minaj said that she tried to be brutally honest with contestants on the show and sometimes that meant that she had to be mean. In the end, though, Minaj thinks that her tough criticism will make the contestants better singers.

Minaj said:

“As an artist I’ve always grown more from the tougher criticism and so I would like to be that person and to try to help people get that thick skin and to really give it their all, because it is a competition.”

Nicki Minaj will make her debut on American Idol on January 26. Do you think Minaj will make a good judge?

    She is too damn snobby…that reality show definately showed me that she really does have a nasty attitude…It's ashame how being a star can change you….Pickle Juice! Haaa. I'm not hatin' … Nor jealous…she's the one who is letting her true self…that's all. Good day :)
