Roethlisberger’s Accuser Wins Victory In Pretrial; Judge Refuses To Dismiss Case

Reno, NV (AHN) – The 31-year-old woman who has accused Ben Roethlisberger of rape has had her case upheld by a Nevada judge Wednesday, refusing the motion of Roethlisberger’s camp to dismiss.
District Judge Brent Adams issued several orders which included a refusal to dismiss the lawsuit, on the grounds that the woman’s employers were not named in the lawsuit.
The prosecutor’s civil suit named her ex-employers as accomplices in a conspiracy to cover-up alleged actions taken by the Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback.
The alleged victim, Andrea McNulty, is suing them separately, despite counterclaims that she was bragging to them about having consensual sex with Roethlisberger.
Roethlisberger’s lawyers have gone on the offensive, calling McNulty an “admitted sex addict”, and have said in their motion that “the plaintiff is a disturbed and calculating woman who, together with council, fabricated a claim of sexual assault against a two-time super bowl winning quarterback to save her job and extort a large monetary payoff.”
One of McNulty’s lawyers countered with a sanction against Roethlisburger’s legal team for attempts to intimidate her into dropping the suit, and have accused the camp of trying to smear her.
