WWE Survivor Series 2012: Full Results


The 26th annual WWE Survivor Series Pay Per View took place last night and cemented the dominance of current champion CM Punk as the reigning heavyweight champion of the world. The show was held at the Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Indiana. Among other results:

3MB (Heath Slater Jinder Mahal and accompanied by Drew McIntyre) beat Santino Marella Zack Ryder. McIntyre hit Ryder in the back of the head with the cast on his arm, which led to Mahal hitting Ryder with a full nelson slam for the pinfall. The match aired live on YouTube prior to the pay per view going on the air.

Team Clay (Brodus Clay, Rey Mysterio, Sin Cara, Justin Gabriel Tyson Kidd) beat Team Tensai (Tensai, Primo, Epico and The Prime Time Players – Darren Young Titus O’Neill) in an elimination match.

– Tensai eliminated Clay after hitting a senton.

– Gabriel rolled up Tensai for the pin.

– Kidd pinned O’Neill with a modified sunset flip.

– Kidd made Epico submit to the Sharpshooter.

– Mysterio countered a Backstabber from Primo into roll-up for the pin.

– Mysterio pinned Young after he received a swanton bomb from Sin Cara, a springboard moonsault from Gabriel, and a Drop the Dime from Mysterio.

Mysterio, Sin Cara, Kidd and Gabriel all survived.

Backstage, Kaitlyn was walking to the ring when she was attacked by a blonde woman. This time Kaitlyn was ready for her and fought back and revealed the attacker was Aksana. Eve then entered the scene asking if Kaitlyn was okay. Kaitlyn responded with a shove and stormed to the ring.

WWE Divas Champion Eve Torres beat Kaitlyn after hitting the Heartbreaker.

WWE United States Champion Antonio Cesaro pinned R-Truth after hitting the Neutralizer.

Backstage Mick Foley tried to rally his team including a “Bang, Bang” cheer. Everyone got in on it except Randy Orton, who responded with a simple “I hate you.”

AJ Lee then called out Vickie Guerrero to confront her about the AJ-John Cena scandal. AJ then produced various Photoshopped photos of Vickie with Ricardo Rodriguez, Jim Ross, and then Brodus Clay. AJ then reminded everyone that she would be fired if she hit Vickie and also that Vickie would be fired should she hit AJ. This led to Tamina Snuka sneak attacking AJ from behind and then hitting her with a Superfly Splash. Vickie then laughed in AJ’s face.

Sheamus beat World Heavyweight Champion The Big Show by disqualification. Show pulled referee Scott Armstong into his way, causing Sheamus to nail Armstrong with a Brogue Kick instead. Two other referees came out to check on Armstrong. Show then hit Sheamus with a knockout punch, and a new referee counted the pinfall. The other referee then called for a disqualification indicating that Show was disqualified for pulling Armstrong into harm’s way. Post-match beat Show all the way up the ramp and then hit him with a Brogue Kick.

Team Ziggler (Dolph Ziggler, Wade Barrett, Alberto Del Rio, Damian Sandow David Otunga) beat Team Foley (Randy Orton, Kane, Daniel Bryan, The Miz Kofi Kingston) in an elimination match. David Otunga replaced the recently injured Cody Rhodes on Team Ziggler.

– Kane pinned Sandow after a chokeslam.

– Ziggler pinned Kane after hitting the Zig Zag.

– Bryan made Otunga tap out to the No Lock.

– Barrett pinned Kingston after hitting the Bull Hammer elbow.

– Del Rio made Bryan tap out to a cross armbreaker.

– Miz pinned Barrett after hitting the Skull Crushing Finale.

– Del Rio pinned Miz after hitting a step up enziguri.

– Orton pinned Del Rio after hitting a RKO.

– Ziggler pinned Orton after hitting a superkick.

Ziggler was the sole survivor.

In the main event, WWE Champion CM Punk beat John Cena and Ryback in a triple threat match. Ryback hit Cena with Shell Shocked but then Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins, and Roman Reigns from NXT hit the ring and attacked Ryback. They then put Ryback through the Spanish Announce Table with a triple powerbomb. Punk was then able to get the pinfall on Cena to retain his Championship.
