Skydiving Cats May Break The Internet [Video]

There’s only one thing that the internet loves more than cat videos: a video of skydiving cats.

A Swedish Insurance company created the skydiving cats video to promote one of its pet insurance policies. But who really cares about that?

This video features a bunch of cats skydiving to R. Kelly’s “I Believe I Can Fly.”

The insurance company, Folksam, said that they were inspired to make the commercial for one of their customers, Eva. It’s unclear what Eva did to inspire the commercial. Does she have a real skydiving cat? Did her cat die after jumping out of an airplane?

The insurance company writes (with the help of Google Translate): “We are owned by our customers, and this commercial is dedicated to one of our owners, Eva. Her heart beats for the cat.”

And in case you were wondering, the cats didn’t actually skydive for the commercial. The insurance company did not say what they did to film the scene but assured animal fans that they did not throw any cats out of an airplane.

The company writes:

“Note that we love cats and that this movie is obviously the trick shot. We have of course followed the Animal Welfare Act and not thrown out a few cuties from an airplane.”

What do you think of the skydiving cats video?
