Kate Middleton Insults Kim Kardashian, Refuses To Wear Reality Star’s Clothing Line
There’s a little feud brewing between Kate Middleton and Kim Kardashian.
Well, maybe feud isn’t the right word. The Duchess of Cambridge isn’t a big fan of the outfits in the Kardashian Kollection, and Kim is reportedly furious that Middleton refused to wear the clothes. So, it’s more like a one-sided feud.
Show Biz Spy reports that Kim, Khloe, and Kourtney sent Middleton a few items from the Kardashian Kollection. Middleton was flattered that they thought of her but refused to put on the clothes. The Duchess reportedly sent the items back to the Kardashian sisters without trying them on.
A source said:
“Kate wouldn’t be caught dead in a Kardashian outfit. The Duchess gets free clothes sent to her every day of the week, and she always sends them back. The royal family is very careful about not being seen to endorse any product. It’s just not proper. Quite apart from that, the Kardashian outfits just aren’t appropriate for a duchess. Kate is hardly going to turn up for an event with the queen in a cheap leopard-print miniskirt or gold sequined jacket!”
Yep, the Kardashian Kollection, which is currently sold at Sears, is not fit for the royal family. Who would have thought? Apparently Kim Kardashian thought so.
The reality star is reportedly furious about the snub.
A source said:
“Kim wasn’t happy because she’s obsessed with Kate, but the Duchess of Cambridge has no interest in becoming part of the Kardashian publicity machine … Kate can’t stand their style, and from what she knows about their TV show, it’s just a bunch of trashy people primping and yelling at each other. She’s far too polite to diss Kim to her face, but she’s got enough on her plate without having tea with someone like her.”
Kanye West, on the other hand, has a few fans in the royal family. Prince William has hung out with Kanye a few times and is a big fan of his music. The royalty may be rubbing off on Kanye too, who has suggested that Kim tone down her appearance a little for a more natural look like Kate Middleton.
The source added:
“Kanye West has met Prince William, who’s a big fan of his music, and he’s become a big fan of Kate too. He’s even suggested to Kim that she could take a leaf out of the royal beauty’s book and tone down her makeup for a more natural look.”
