Dakota Fanning Rocks Brown Hair At Breaking Dawn – Part 2 Premiere [Photos]

Dakota Fanning’s brown hair — yes, brown — made its debut at Monday night’s The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2 premiere in Los Angeles.

The 18-year-old actress is far more widely known for her pale blonde locks, leading to plenty of double takes at the L.A. event. It’s fair to say Dakota Fanning’s brown hair adds a year or three to the fresh-faced teenager.

To complement her new dyed look, the star rocked a green embellished Ellie Saab dress for what will be the very final Twilight premiere. Reportedly, she also told reporters her dress choice was motivated by her darker hair color.

The hairstyle itself was a simple, fuss-free look, one that was aided by the actress’ cherry red lipstick.

In The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2, Fanning plays Jane, a member of the evil Volturi clan of vampires. Fanning’s character can inflict the illusion of pain on others using just her mind.
