Kinect Sesame Street TV: A More Interactive Muppet Experience [Video]

Sesame Street for years has encouraged children to interact with its fun and zany cast of characters. Now thanks to Microsoft’s Kinect software and the Xbox 360, your children can literally interact!

Known as Kinect Sesame Street TV, the new game allows children to take directions from Grover, Elmo, and their other favorite Sesame Street characters.

Since the Sesame Street game does not offer a controller, your kids are forced to get off the couch and be active while at the same time learning important lessons such as “up and over,” the alphabet, and more.

In one scenario, players are asked to water some flowers or actually talk to the flowers to help them grow.

Each of the eight interactive games for Kinect Sesame Street TV offer their own set of detailed instructions, which are explained to young players with the help of Sesame Street characters. For example, Elmo explains how to play with Paul Ball while Grover explains why he needs help picking up his coconuts.

From hand eye coordination to find motor skills and voice based interaction, the Kinect Sesame Street TV game offers plenty of interactive experiences for your children. The game even takes into account skill levels to ensure the best possible experience available.

While nothing will beat sending your children outside to play, if they absolutely love Sesame Street and the many lessons it offers, this might be the perfect gift for the holidays.
