Swizz Beatz’s New Tax Bill: Rapper Owes $2.6 Million

Swizz Beatz’s new tax bill totals an eye-watering $2.6 million.

According to TMZ, the 34-year-old rapper has $2.6 million in federal tax liens filed against him.

And that figure has now risen even further, with the state of New York filing a lien against Swizz Beatz for unpaid taxes of $98,246.18 for the year 2010.

Back in 2010, Swizz’s lawyer released a statement about Beatz’s tax situation, explaining:

“We have been discussing the issue with the government for years and are currently negotiating an amicable resolution of the dispute.”

Not that Swizz Beatz’s new tax bill seems to be affecting his home life. The rapper and hip-hop producer is married to Alicia Keys, who just splashed out $15 million on Eddie Murphy’s mansion. A real estate source close to the deal revealed:

“The closing has been delayed for months but they’re almost there. When she closes, she’ll buy the two-acre lot behind the house, too.”

Furthermore, Swizz’s personal life continues to blossom. He and Keys recently called their two-year-old son their “best collaboration,” with Keys gushing:

“He’s the best collaboration I’ve ever done, he’s the best song I ever wrote, the best experience I’ve ever had, the best show I’ve ever performed. He’s the best everything.”
