‘Grand Theft Auto V:’ Over A Dozen New Screenshots Released

Over a dozen new images from Rockstar’s Grand Theft Auto V have found their way online, according to the Examiner. The images are reportedly from the Game Informer magazine’s coverage of the title.

The latest photos arrive two days ahead of the game’s new trailer. The next promotional clip is presently scheduled to appear on the internet this Thursday (November 14).

The images show off a number of impressive aspects of the game, ranging from simply taking a walk down the street to flying a jet fighter across the city skyline. From a graphical standpoint, the latest addition to the Grand Theft Auto series looks breathtaking.

Rockstar previously announced the return of bicycles to the world of Los Santos. Those who thought the company had turned their back on this mode of transportation will be happy to see bikes roaming the streets in the latest batch of photos.

Over the course of the game, players will be able to take control of three different characters. According to Rockstar’s Dan Houser, gamers will be able to play as both the hero and the villain.

“Just at the conceptual level, the idea was three separate stories that you play in one game. The next bit was, let’s not have the stories intersect once or twice but have them completely interwoven,” Houser explained. “It felt like it was going to be a real narrative strength: you get to play the protagonist and the antagonist in the same story.”

Last week, numerous details about Grand Theft Auto V were released by Game Informer. The company also confirmed that the game will arrive on retail shelves next spring.

In order to keep the buzz going, Rockstar will unveil the next trailer for the game on Thursday. Many are hoping that the clip will be accompanied by a solid release date.
