‘The Real’ Slammed For Latest ‘Petty’ Tamar Braxton Diss

Tamar Braxton’s longstanding feud with her former talk show The Real doesn’t seem to be over yet, as the daytime talk show is being slammed and accused of throwing a whole lot of shade Tamar’s way.

AskKissy.com is reporting that The Real appeared to “intentionally” diss the reality star by hiring a number of Braxton’s former friends to sit in her vacant seat as temporary co-hosts for the show over the coming weeks amid Tamar’s nasty feud with both the show and her former co-stars that began after she was fired from the series back in May.

The site blasted the daytime show as being “petty” after it was announced last week that Tamar’s former friends turned feud partners including Kandi Burruss, Nene Leakes, and Shekinah Jo would all be upcoming guest co-hosts on the series after another of Tamar’s former feud partners, Joseline Hernandez, enjoyed a week-long stint in Braxton’s former co-host chair.

But it’s not just The Real’s and its upcoming guest co-hosts who are being accused of throwing shade at Tamar, as AskKissy.com noted that more shade then appeared to be thrown in Tamar’s direction as a number of Braxton’s former friends – who she famously got into several nasty feuds with over The Real – as they then promoted Kandi’s appearance on the show across Instagram.

Monica Brown, who Tamar launched a feud with after she appeared on the Season 3 premiere week of The Real, then promoted Kandi’s appearance on the show, after which Tiny Harris posted about the appearance on her Instagram page before Toya Wright then followed suit.

Notably, Tamar got into an all-out war with the ladies last year following their respective appearances on The Real, which fans were quick to note could be why they landed places at The Real table alongside Braxton’s former co-hosts Adrienne Bailon, Jeannie Mai, Tamera Mowry-Housley, and Loni Love – who she hasn’t been shy about throwing serious shade at in recent months.

“Am I the only one who thinks The Real lowkey be shading Tamar?” Twitter user @alotta_Benni asked of the show’s new round of co-hosts, while @ZoeA_Mommy added of the apparent shade thrown at Braxton, “lol The Real being petty. Getting all the [people] Tamar friends with and don’t like to co-host that s***.”

“Instead of throwing [shade] y’all should have fixed the relationship between y’all and Tamar and y’all wouldn’t have to be messy #TheReal,” Braxton fan @soforreal29 hit back amid the diss claims.

Toya first confirmed that she and Monica were the first of their friendship group to feel Braxton’s wrath after they made separate appearances on the first few episodes of Season 3 back in September, causing a feud with the reality star.

Prior to a nasty war of words, Toya confirmed that Braxton unfollowed herself and Monica on Instagram for appearing on The Real just months after Tamar was fired from the show, after which things turned seriously nasty between herself, Loni, Jeannie, Tamera, and Adrienne.

“My friend was on the talk show for what I believe was two seasons and I was never able to go on there,” Toya wrote of her feud with Tamar Braxton in her book In My Own Words… My Reality, according to BET. “After my friend was fired, my publicist was able to get me on the show, which I found to be strange.”

“Little did I know, when I was done with [The Real] I was gonna lose a friend and get unfollowed,” Wright continued of how her feud with Braxton began. “I logged on to my social media accounts to see that I was tagged in all kinds of posts saying that myself and another friend were unfollowed for going on the show.”

Tamar’s feud with Toya and Monica only went on to escalate with even more shade thrown from both sides, including an Instagram post from Wright promoting Eve’s appearance on The Real, in which she called out Braxton for being unable to support her friends by adding the hashtag “#friendssupportfriends,” though the image has since been deleted.

Tamar’s nasty feud over The Real then appeared to spread even further into Braxton’s circle of friends, as reports claimed that Braxton continued to unfollow her friends who had any association with The Real after she was fired, including Kandi and Tiny Harris.

Fameolous reported last year that Braxton then went on to unfollow Tiny after she promoted Monica’s appearance on The Real by re-posting a clip from Kandi’s account, despite the twosome being famously close for years.

After a fan tweeted Braxton to ask why she unfollowed Tiny despite their years of friendship, The Jasmine Brand reported that Tamar hit back with a pretty scathing diss message which confirmed her and Harris’s feud.

“I find it funny that you have NO idea as to what you are talking about!” Braxton tweeted in reply. “As Tiny why I unfollowed her. Don’t make an a** out of yourself now… Eat the a**part of the turkey after all it is Thanksgiving.”

For her part, after spending her 2016 in a slew of nasty feuds with her former friends, Tamar is yet to officially respond to The Real’s new revolving door of co-hosts, though she may have been referring to the latest accusations of shade on Instagram following the big announcement.

Braxton took to Instagram on January 28 to post a quote that read, “People will have your name in everything but a prayer.”

Do you think The Real is intentionally throwing shade at Tamar Braxton by inviting her former friends to co-host the show?
