Chrissy Teigen Is Back In Bikinis After Wearing Conservative Gown To SAG Awards

Chrissy Teigen is back modeling bikinis for Sports Illustrated after taking time off to spend with her family.

The model gave birth last April to daughter Luna and only recently jumped back into showcasing her figure in swimsuits for the 2017 Swimsuit Issue. Harper’s Bazaar covered Chrissy’s bikini photo session as the 31-year-old discussed her emotions on being back in a two piece.

The article states Teigen expressed her self-doubt as she jokingly asked to wear only one pieces before the shoot.

“In a preview for the SI Swimsuit special, editor MJ Day revealed that Chrissy wanted to wear only one-piece suits and asked if she could cover up with a blanket.”

Of course, Teigen eventually ended up topless and wearing next to nothing as she got more comfortable. However, after posing on a beach, Chrissy said she forgot just how painful modeling could be.

“I forgot how stupidly painful it is to pop your a** all day.”

At the end of the shoot, Chrissy stated how great it felt to be back to work after taking time off to raise her daughter and focus on her cookbook.

“For a mother, it’s nice to be able to be back in your element and it’s so important to my well-being that I’m able to come out here and do something that I’m proud of.”

Just days prior to news of Chrissy’s Sports Illustrated shoot, she attended the 2017 Screen Actors Guild Awards with husband John Legend. Teigen wore a relatively conservative black gown as she’s been known to show off more than a bit of skin on the red carpet.

While Teigen was sure to cover up for the SAG Awards, she wasn’t shy to strip down when it came to the Sports Illustrated swimsuit shoot. Her fans seemed to be on board with the fact she’s once again posing in bikinis as they took to commenting on photos from the shoot.

Some said Chrissy doesn’t even look like she’s had a baby just nine months ago.

“She doesn’t even look like she had a baby! #MomGoals”

Others said the mom of one is gorgeous inside and out as she has a big personality.

“Insanely gorgeous and a sparkling down to earth person!”

However, some did not like the released photos of Teigen as she crawled along the sand in a purple bikini.

“She’s hilarious, and witty. However, this is not a good picture of her.”

“I thought I was the only one! Don’t think she’s attractive at all! She’s weird looking!”

But Instagram users didn’t stop there as they continued to slam Chrissy’s modeling — and personality.

“Not really that amazing. She’s not that pretty and she’s annoying!”

“I think her kid is so cute, I’ve got no comment for her.”

Hopefully, though, Chrissy doesn’t see these comments as she’s known to read through posts online. This week, Teigen also made headlines after shutting down a commenter who dared question her fertility struggles. Entertainment Tonight reported on Chrissy’s response as she called the commenter a “witch.”

Even though the Twitter user’s comment may seem innocent enough, Chrissy did not take well to the fact someone questioned her struggles to conceive.

“@chrissyteigen did you give it a minute to try naturally or are you avoiding ‘the act?'”

“Hi Linda, thanks for asking, you complete witch. I tried for about 9 years. Anything else, let me know!”

However, Teigen is known for her bold attitude and fans appreciate her wit as they follow her on social media. These kind of comments aren’t rare for Chrissy and most have come to expect the feisty model to fire back at trolls.

Hopefully, she doesn’t have to defend her decision to once again model bikinis as some have already started to attack her photos as previously stated.
