Kristen Stewart, Despite Robert Pattinson And Stella, Wants More ‘Twilight’
Kristen Stewart may have put Robert Pattinson in her past, but that does not mean that she also has buried her beloved Twilight series. The actress is now an indie movie darling, and she captured the hearts of sleek moviegoers at Cannes Film Festival. While in Cannes, she revealed that she is still interested in Stephanie Meyer’s Twilight series, in which she played the protagonist for a good portion of her acting career.
While her ex-boyfriend and onscreen vampire lover Robert Pattinson might not want to revisit the past, the 26-year-old actress revealed that she still is fascinated by the story and the characters. When she was asked if she would make another Twilight movie, she replied in a resolute way.
“We kind of finished the series,” she said according to Metro. “We made five movies. I think we kind of did it justice.”
But when she was pressed on whether she’d be tempted to return if there was another book, she said, “I would definitely be the first to read it, yeah.”
Since her vampire days, Kristen Stewart has taken more sophisticated and realistic roles; appearing in artsy movies like Silas Manor, Cafe Society, and Personal Assistant. On the other hand, Robert Pattinson continues to make fantasy movies that trigger the interest of younger demographics.
The 31-year-old British actor’s latest film project is The Lost City of Z, which is made by Amazon Studios. As of right now, it is rated well on Rotten Tomatoes, coming in at 87 percent freshness.
“One of the best films of 2017 we’ve already seen, the adventure drama explores the time period of the early 20th century when Hunnam’s character, Percy Fawcett, discovers evidence of a lost civilization in the Amazons, but is ridiculed by the scientific community,” reports The Film Stage. “As one can see in a batch of new images, during his adventure into the Amazon, Hunnam will also be accompanied by Robert Pattinson, whose character’s role is to assist Hunnam on his journey in search for further proof of this lost civilization.”
He is also deeply and intimately involved with FKA Twigs, to whom he is also engaged. While they have not revealed any wedding plans, they have been seen together this past holiday season in Los Angeles, showing that they are far from any breakup.
“They’ve been going strong for two years. And FKA Twigs and fiancé Robert Pattinson looked in good spirits as they embarked on a Christmas shopping outing in LA on Friday. The British singer, 28, and the British actor, 30, put on a casual display as they lugged huge bags in search of some Christmas loot.”

As for Cafe Society actress, since parting ways with Robert Pattinson, she has been experimenting quite a bit in her personal life. Since her Twilight days, she has not had a relationship that lasted as long as it did with her co-star and she has dated mostly women.
Just in 2016 alone, she dated her ex-personal assistant, Alicia Cargile, French singer-actress SoKo and American singer St. Vincent. She rang in the new year with Victoria’s Secret model Stella Maxwell, who was previously linked with Miley Cyrus.
Kristen is still going strong with Stella, and the pair traveled to Milan to spend time together at the recent Men’s Fashion Week. After Stella had completed her modeling engagements, they returned to the West Coast to enjoy some downtime together.

“Kristen Stewart isn’t shy about her romance with model Stella Maxwell,” reports AOL. “The two enjoyed a night of fun at Knott’s Berry Farm theme park in Buena Park, California, on Sunday, where they were snapped holding hands. Clad in a black bomber jacket, jeans and a gray T-shirt, Stewart grinned as she showed PDA with Maxwell, who sported a leather jacket and jeans.”
