Taylor Swift Dated A Normal College Dude In Secret

Most outlets are already aware that if country singer Taylor Swift is in a relationship, or getting over her heartache, she’s going to sing about it, and write 12 songs about every flutter her heart makes throughout the duration of said relationship. Not only that, but she’s going to do a press tour about it.

However, according to US weekly, before John Mayer, and Jake Gyllenhaal, there was someone else, someone who apparently was unlucky (or lucky enough) to miss out on the honor of having a song penned after him. Featured on US’ cover, Taylor’s relationship with her normal college guy is revealed, but that’s not to say the magazine doesn’t pose that there must be something wrong with Swift, since she’s obviously so unlucky in love.

According to a source, Swift’s relationship with the Nashville college boyfriend happened a few years ago. A pal explains to US that it was a step in the right direction, who has had her fair share of burns from A-list celebrities: “Her friends were proud of her for trying to date a normal dude. And trying to be part of the local college scene like someone her age would be doing.” However, things got a tad bit weird when her beau’s pals started to inquire about her, says the source, “A couple of his friends started texting her and trying to hang out. It got weird.”

Swift, who just broke up with recent boyfriend Conor Kennedy admitted to Katie Couric on her talk show, “I don’t know how to have a normal relationship.”
