Human Barbie Doll, Valeria Lukyanova, Poses For V Magazine

human barbie

When photos of the Human Barbie surfaced on the internet earlier this year many people thought that it was a hoax. How could someone look so perfectly plastic? Well, V Magazine published an interview with the model today proving that Valeria Lukyanova is a real-life Barbie Doll.

V Magazine writes: “The truth is that Valeria is very much real.”

The Human Barbie doll may be real but that doesn’t mean that she doesn’t live in a fantasy world. Well, let’s just say that Lukyanova has some interesting habits.

For one, she’s a self-professed practitioner of “astral projection,” or out-of-body travel. But Lukyanova isn’t just a believer of out-of-body travel, she’s a teacher.

The Human Barbie doll says:

“I’m a teacher at the School of Out-of-Body Travel. It’s an international school in which our instructors show students how to leave their physical body and travel in their spiritual body, where you can visit any place on the planet and in the universe. I know that this is the future of mankind and that it has huge potential.”

In addition to being an out-of-body world traveler, Lukyanova is also a model, an artist, and a singer.

Lukyanova said:

I have written most of my songs during my astral travels or during meditation. This is also how I collaborate with other composers of new age music. They inspire me. My genre is new age opera. Sometimes I can write a piece in one breath, in as little as five minutes.”

Lukyanova has received world-wide media attention for her appearance but the Human Barbie doll does not believe that her looks are the only reason for her fame.

Lukyanova said:

“People don’t understand that it has nothing to do with looks. There are many good-looking young women, but why are they completely unknown? Because looks are just a bonus. If you spend time working only on your appearance and you forget about your inner self, people will not be interested in you because they will not feel anything. Many people think you need only good looks to be successful, but it’s not true—only spiritual work can bear tangible results.”

Valeria Lukyanova also denies that she’s had plastic surgery to achieve her look. According to the Human Barbie Doll, she has not had surgery and does not enhance her image with photo editing.

Lukyanova said:

“Many people say bad things about people who want to perfect themselves. It’s hard work, but they dismiss it as something done by surgeons or computer artists. This is how they justify not wanting to strive for self-improvement. It’s how they explain their continued inaction. It’s just an excuse. There are plenty of video clips on the Internet showing what I really look like. Some people even spread rumors about me and retouch my pictures to hurt me. But I don’t take them seriously. I’m even flattered! It’s what success is like. I’m happy I seem unreal to them, it means I’m doing a good job.”

Do you believe that Valeria Lukyanova’s appearance is all-natural? Are you surprised by her belief in out-of-body travel?

too plastic and not pretty at all-hope she didn't pay for surgery to look like this. Wondering-does she had a boyfriend named Ken or is it Chucky?

  2. Joe Vaughn

you are happy you seem unreal to people? How about dumb? If a man finds this attractive then they have problems in the first place….tells me that they used to play with dolls.

  3. Michaela Williams

What is wrong with YOU people. You're proving exactly as she says. Criticizing perfection due to your lack of esteem. Yes, she's a REAL person equipped with REAL feelings and all.

If this isn't a CGI hoax with a twisted plot backstory.. Merely interesting but not believable.

  5. Robert Hollingsworth

How do you know this is not damaging her body? What will be the long lasting effects of this plastic surgery? She may be happy now, but will she be happy at 50?

  6. Lewis Alva

Okay fine she wants to be a barbie whatever there's always someone trying to be unique sure.. but what really makes me trip absolute balls is that its fucking scary to me. I cannot look at her face its just fucking unnerving that I cant. Like one of those japanese horror moves with scary dolls except I KNOW this one is real.

No surgery… riiiiiiggghhhtt. What "spiritual" things is she talking about? All her hard work at the soup kitchens? Her discovery of a cure for cancer? Oh you mean the pursuit to look like a plastic figurine. Yes. Very spiritual..:P

whats wrong with you hateful people. its her body and she can do whatever she wants to it. she is not the ugly one its the ones that ar saying ugly things about her. nast dam people

  9. Kaalo Lovett

Too close to "uncanny valley" where your brain looks at a person and says "this ain't right". It turns what would be pretty into creepy and disturbing.

  10. Kaalo Lovett

It is why when you see the realistic robots and cartoons your brain doesn't really accept it.

"She's not hurting anyone", maybe not directly, but by continuously and gratuitously pushing impossible high (or low depending on how you see it) standards on the next generation of girls. The fact is that little girls have severely hurt themselves trying to achieve the self professed (perfection) that this woman promotes. You say we're hateful, well, I say you are purely ignorant.

  12. Corey Nufer

Anyone believing themselves to be perfect needs a reality check. Also, she may be a "REAL person with REAL feelings and all" but she is going to inspire an entire generation of little girls and young women to do unhealthy things to look more "perfect". You may see perfection, but I see a sad, selfish, ignorant little child that is so wrapped up in their looks that they have nothing else.

  13. Jennifer Wolf

First off, you can choose to believe she's had surgery, though she outright denies it, that's on you, HOWEVER, the issue about little girls trying to be like this and hurting themselves, means their parents are seriously NOT doing their duty in educating their children. It's unlikely/unrealistic that they can achieve this outcome (and the fact that they want to) may mean some underlying mental illness. How the hell is she pushing this on ANYBODY???? Always looking for people to blame for their own STUPIDITY. I pity you.

  14. Shandi Neag

She's gorgeous without the makeup, Yeah, it looks drastic and she might have had her nose done, but a majority of what you're seeing is really heavy makeup and photoshop. She's not hurting anyone, and she identifies herself as an artist and musician. She's playing a role, much like dozens of other artists, models, and musicians – if you're putting her down because she might 'influence future generations to starve and harm themselves'. Obviously stick thin and perfect isn't a good image or influence, but you can't blame one person alone. Parents need to be there to reinforce and build their children's self-esteem up like a parent should rather than expect the media and entertainment world to babysit them. That's their responsibility. You want to be the person you are, so let her be the person she wants to be if it makes her happy.

  15. Shandi Neag

^correction: if you're putting her down because she might 'influence future generations to starve and harm themselves", I don't think you understand the part about her being human and being able to express herself, much like you are doing here.

Love it when some plain ugly chick talks about a model that is getting international attention and news as not being pretty. Girl, you ugly. That is fact. So compare you to her, and guess how many men would take her over you? EVERY unless they are blind, homosexual, or hate themselves.

She's not stick thin, do you see ribs? Veins? She is healthy, see, but in America so many people are FAT that they call a normal healthy woman like this too skinny. Actually, she knows how to eat healthy.

  19. Anonymous

Corey Nufer / Robert – learn English ok idiots, it clearly states she did not have surgery. And she actually plays down her beauty, I am constantly amazed at how poor the average American's reading comprehension skills are. READ THE BLACK LETTERS, THATS ALL! DON'T THROW IN YOUR STUPID ASS 2 CENTS AND GET IT ALL WRONG. If you don't like this post, come find me and we can discuss in person losers.

  20. Wendy Jean

As long as shes happy and not hurting anyone, does it really matter? People are so quick to judge…its terrible. Let her be who she wants to be, not for ME but hey, good luck to her!

  21. Tina Hatcher Wolf

No surgery???? No photo editing???? My ass!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  22. Rose Connolly

I agree with you Jennifer! However, in some of the photos she looks a little too thin, unnaturally thin. but in other, she looks well proportioned. I don't think she's had surgery done to look like she does. its awesome makeup and those contact lenses are fantastic. It's not her job to be a role model to children…that's the parents job. It's her job to be a model. And she does it well.

  23. Rose Connolly

I agree! And she has not had any surgery. She's in her early 20's. Her only crime may be being too thin, but that's my own jealousy talking ;). She looks good. Her makeup is awesome. And she's confident enough to keep doing what she loves.

  24. Rose Connolly

mikebee27 She does look very healthy. In some picture she looked to thin for me, but your right…It wasn't ribs, it was just skinny. There are many girls that are naturally thin and are very healthy! She's one of them.

  25. Corey Nufer

mikebee27 Comparing my comment and yours shows that I have a much higher comprehension level of English. I'm not sure if you've heard of a concept in the English language called "lying", but people do it all the time.

  26. Corey Nufer

Jennifer Wolf How is she pushing this on anybody? Let's see, she has consistently, for several years now, done whatever she can to stay relevant enough to make the trending topics. That's called "self-promotion", and the definition of that amounts to "pushing yourself" into the public eye. Have you ever heard of the concept called "lying"? Because people do it all the time, people deny things that they have OBVIOUSLY done every day. Your ignorance knows no bounds.
