Jennifer Aniston is no stranger to tabloid rumors, and the majority of such tales are often proven to be completely false. However, since Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s constant prominence in headlines last year about a rumored split did end up being true, many readers are more easily influenced by new claims about Aniston and her current hubby.
Although her ex-husband Pitt has proven the tabloids right, we can all rest assured that Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux are not headed for a divorce, despite new claims on the subject. Life & Style is the culprit behind these latest claims about Aniston and Theroux, as Gossip Cop notes. The headline story for the current issue of the tabloid is “Jen & Justin Headed for Divorce,” and it focuses on a supposed source’s words about an apparent “miserable weekend together.”
A source shared that the weekend referred to was following the birthday party of Orlando Bloom. GC notes the comments.
“Justin was animated and chatting with everybody. The moment Jen was there, Justin would just go quiet. He got very somber. He wasn’t having fun at all when he was with her. It was supposed to be a special weekend, but she was ruining it for him. Now the stars allegedly hit a'”breaking point.’ Jen and Justin were fighting all weekend about how controlling she is. They do everything to keep up appearances, but he knows things have been bad for too long.”
Life & Style has become notorious for false claims about Jen and Justin. Back in December, as GC notes, it even stated that the solid couple would be divorced by the end of the year. Not surprisingly, this did not happen. The tabloid simply is prepared for an eventual divorce between the star couple simply because of the statistics regarding most celebrity marriages, point to an eventual split. A rep for the couple has stamped this rumor out and referred to it as “false” and “ridiculous.”

It is no wonder that Aniston took to penning an essay sharing her frustrations of these false stories that draw the attention of the masses. In an open letter written in the Huffington Post last summer, Aniston made known her annoyance about constantly being the subject of such ludicrous rumors, mainly regarding a false pregnancy or relationship troubles. The beauty began that letter with the words, “For the record, I am not pregnant. What I am is fed up.” The Cake star goes on, “I’m fed up with the sport-like scrutiny and body shaming that occurs daily under the guise of ‘journalism…”
Clearly certain tabloids have not received the message, and Jen recently admitted that her very honest essay has done little. Vanity Fair relayed words spoken by Aniston in a recent interview regarding the surprising response and support she received, yet how little it has done to inspire change in the media, stating, “I had no idea it would get the response that it did; I was thrilled with that. But sadly, people still buy into it. They are consumers of this trash and they eat it up.”

The star continued to admit the reality of the matter despite her efforts.
“She did concede that it made ‘a little bit’ of a difference. “It’s definitely in people’s consciousness a lot more. But you’re always going to have the Piers Morgans of the world contradicting something that comes from the heart and saying, ‘You’re a hypocrite.'”
