Jason White And Emily Maynard Not An Item, Confirms Emily Maynard
Jason White and Emily Maynard are … not an item. Rumors began to circulate this week that NASCAR truck racer White and The Bachelorette star had become more than just good friends. Sadly for romantics, the star herself has confirmed she is still single.
The origin of the Jason White and Emily Maynard rumors was a report in Us Weekly.
A source informed the magazine the couple were looking cozy at Carrie Underwood’s concert in Charlotte, N.C. on November 3, just weeks after Maynard split from fiance Jef Holm. According to Us‘s spy:
“[Jason and Emily] were all over each other. Jason guided her through the crowd and held her hand as they walked downstairs. […] Emily tried something new, dating Jef. She is going to go back to what she knows and considers safe.”
At the time, the story seemed credible. White and Maynard have reportedly been friends for some time, and Maynard has even dated a NASCAR star before: previously, she was engaged to NASCAR driver Ricky Hendricks, who died in a plane crash in 2004.
But as it happens, love is not in the air for Jason White and Emily Maynard.
The reality TV star turned to Twitter to address the rumors, informing her 400,000 followers:

Her manager weighed in as well, informing E! News:
“Emily and Jason are not dating. They’ve been friends forever and she was just enjoying a much-needed night out with a group of friends at the Carrie Underwood concert. Emily is enjoying being single and being a mom.”
