Eddie Murphy Girlfriend: Paige Butcher Turns Heads At Spike Tribute

Paige Butcher

Eddie Murphy’s girlfriend Paige Butcher turned many heads at the taping of Spike TV’s tribute to the comedian on Saturday evening, according to The Huffington Post.

Eddie Murphy: One Night Only, which is set to air on Spike in November, was attended by a number of comedians, actors, and celebrity fans. Included on the guest list were Adam Sandler, Chris Rock, Tracy Morgan, Stevie Wonder, and Coming To America co-star Arsenio Hall.

“I’m just a retired old song and dance man,” Murphy told the crowd. “That’s what you do when you’re retired: You come out every now and then and talk about the old days.”

Although the evening was devoted to the life and times of the Beverly Hills Cop and former Saturday Night Live star, people couldn’t help but gawk at the actor’s 33-year-old Australian model girlfriend.

According to Zap2It, Paige Butcher got her start in the world of modeling at the age of 13. Two years after her debut, Butcher would win a CoverGirl model search. American fans probably know her best from her two Maxim magazine covers; one features Butcher wearing soap suds while the other shows off the model’s bikini body.

When asked about her career in 2004, Butcher said she was “trying to achieve my goals — the ultimate goals of a lingerie model, or every model, really — so, trying to get my foot in the door.”

Internet Movie Database lists the model as starring in two motion pictures: Something’s Gotta Give and Big Momma’s House 2. Butcher hasn’t appeared in a movie since 2006.

Earlier this year, US Weekly reported that Eddie Murphy and Toni Braxton were embarking on a romantic relationship. However, representatives stated that the two were just friends.

@ Corey Nufer..I don't have a problem with you disagreeing with me but I do have a problem with you calling me out of my name as it is not necessary. You have made it very clear to the world that Eddie Murphy's love life is more important to you then the American Presidential election result that will without a doubt impact millions of lives. Sorry dude, I didn't mean to ruin your man crush. Carry on.

Eddie makes more children friendly films nowadays. Just because his raunchy comedic value fans, aren't getting that kind of stuff out of him anymore, or right now, doesn't mean his movies are flops. It'd just be nice to show respect to the comedy genius that he is and always will be. Have some respect, why don't ya. Geesh. Shows their will Always be haters out there. I live with them, every day. Much love to all!
