iPhone MMS for everyone Friday!

iPhone users, the ability to accidentally text awkward drunk pics to your mom from your iPhone at 3am will finally be enabled this Friday.

The phone that can do everything from doubling as a sex toy, to identifying any song playing at any time, anywhere, to playing air hockey is finally getting MMS capabilities Friday. Just outside the deadline for “late summer,” AT&T announced that the service will get to all phones late Friday morning Pacific time. (Previously, the service was available on a handful of phones.)

AT&T decided to break the news via Facebook:

MMS Update: We know you’ve been eager for this service so we wanted to offer a quick update on the launch plans for MMS on Friday, Sept. 25. Late morning, Pacific Time, on Friday, the new carrier settings update enabling MMS should be live and ready to download through iTunes. We’ll provide the steps and all of the details you need right here at that time.

Now here’s to hoping it doesn’t break them randomly like the last big update.
