Brie Lybrand: YouTube Beauty Expert Posts Video Claiming Her Father Raped Her

Brie Lybrand is usually dolling out fashion tips to her YouTube followers in her typical bubbly fashion, but the “New Orleans Beauty Guru” recently posted a much darker message aimed at one follower in particular — the father she claims raped her.

Lybrand posted a video entitled “A Message To My Rapist,” that has been getting her attention across the internet. In the video, the former pageant star appears stoic and without makeup as she addresses the man she said raped her, The Huffington Post noted.

“I just got an email from YouTube saying that the man who raped me for most of my life subscribed to me,” Brie Lybrand says. “The man that took my virginity, robbed me of an innocence has subscribed to me on YouTube and is watching my videos.”

She goes on to describe in detail her torture at the hands of her father.

“My father, Steven Bressler, molested, tortured and raped me from the time I was four until I was 13 years old,” Lybrand says.

Brie Lybrand goes on to tell how being raped repeatedly as such a young age scarred her, despite an outwardly normal childhood in which she became her school’s cheerleading captain and went on to become an actor and teacher.

“I don’t have to be afraid anymore. Let me show you my weapon collection, dad,” Lybrand says, showing off a firearm. “I carry guns everywhere I go in case you decide to show up… You’re never going to touch me again.”

“I’m sorry this is a differnet type of video than I usually do.” Brie Lybrand said to her close to 8,500 YouTube followers. “But I needed to say it; I needed to say it to your face.”
