‘Assassin’s Creed Anthology’ Outed By Amazon France, Confirmed By Ubisoft

Earlier today, a listing for Assassin’s Creed Anthology made an appearance on Amazon France ahead of any sort of official announcement.

The listing says that Assassin’s Creed Anthology includes, as you no doubt deduced from its name, all five of the Assassin’s Creed games in one package. In addition, the bundle also includes all of the DLC for the past four titles, and presumably Assassin’s Creed III as well.

All five games will be packaged in a steelbook case, and the listing suggests that Assassin’s Creed Anthology will also include lithographs for each of the five games. Seeing as Ubisoft hasn’t formally announced it themselves, what extra content it will include is unclear.

The listing prices Assassin’s Creed Anthology at €150.00, which would put it at around $190. No such listing is currently available in any other region.

Following the leak from Amazon France, Eurogamer reached out to Ubisoft for comment and was told that the package is indeed coming. However, we’re going to have to wait for more details–including price, availability, and clarification on Assassin’s Creed III DLC–later this week.

Assassin’s Creed III, the latest game in the series and the final chapter of Desmond’s story, saw a release worldwide late last month. Developer Ubisoft promises a healthy dose of DLC is on the way, but we won’t be seeing that until 2013.

Assuming that Assassin’s Creed Anthology will be coming out in the relatively near future, it’s likely that the bundle will come with a Season Pass for Assassin’s Creed III DLC, if at all. We’ll have to wait to hear from Ubisoft to be certain.

If Assassin’s Creed Anthology is released in your region, would you be interested in buying it?
