Emma Stone And Andrew Garfield: There’s ‘No Rush’ To Get Engaged

Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield are one of Hollywood’s cutest couples, which has gotten some media hawks buzzing about a potential engagement. Slow down, celebrity gossip outlets! An insider says the two aren’t rushing to the altar, and are simply enjoying their relationship.

Before suiting up for The Amazing Spider-Man 2, Stone and Garfield have been enjoying a well-deserved vacation. The media-shy couple enjoyed Cirque du Soleil’s Los Angeles show on October 16 and were spotted together at a screening of Paranormal Activity 4 a few days later, reports MSN.

“They are absolutely adorable together,” an insider told Us Weekly. “They both seem to have their heads on straight … They are the most normal couple I have seen.”

“They just love spending time together,” said a friend of the 29-year-old Garfield.

Though the two seem to be a match made in heaven, sources say the two aren’t rushing an engagement. “There’s no rush to get engaged,” said a confidant. “They are both young and ambitious.”

Both Stone and Garfield have been together for more than a year, having met on the set of The Amazing Spider-Man. Garfield plays Peter Parker/Spider-Man while Stone plays the comic book character’s first love, Gwen Stacy. The two are set to reprise their roles for the sequel, set to release in 2014.

For Amazing Spider-Man 2, Stone may have to compete for the on-screen affections of her real-life boyfriend if Shailene Woodley accepts the role as Spider-Man’s long-time comic book girlfriend and eventual wife, Mary Jane Watson. Comic book fans are also all-too-aware of Stone’s character’s ultimate fate.

Still, on-screen death probably won’t trouble the real-life couple.
