‘Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater HD’ DLC Delayed, Now Coming This December

Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater HD was originally supposed to have its first DLC release shortly after its launch during Microsoft’s Summer of Arcade promotion, but the DLC was pushed back. Now, it’s being pushed back yet again.

The DLC adds in a selection of levels inspired by 2001’s Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 and a few additional characters. Additionally, the DLC is to add in the “revert” feature that was introduced with Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3, which was missing from the recent XBLA release.

After being delayed from its summer release, Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater HD‘s first DLC was supposed to land around November, but now it’s not expected out until December. When it is released, the DLC is expected to sell for $5.

The developer said in a post on the game’s Facebook page:

“Take a deep breath … let’s get into zen mode. OK, ready? We received word that the DLC has been delayed until the first week of December. It will definitely be coming to all 3 platforms then.”

Developed by Robomodo, Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater HD is a remake of sorts of the original Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater games. The game featured a selection of levels from the first two games and more or less combined the features of both.

Since its initial release on XBLA, Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater HD has since been released on the PlayStation 3 and, more recently, on PC by way of Steam.

Will you be returning to Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater HD once the DLC sees a release in December?
